What about those seats with air suspension would it change your mind
Any idea as to why the CarPlay UI on the MBUX system is shrunk to the centre part only? It's an obvious regression from the full wide screen CarPlay on previous COMAND system.

What is the driving experience compared to the new Panamera turbo S?
I would personally choose the estate, being a father of two young children. I love the new RS6 but I think I would choose the Mercedes over the Audi. I think the Mercedes has a bit more class. Great review Thomas 👍🏻

I've used the new steering wheel for a bit on a short drive and it works a lot better than expected. I don't even think that after a few hours you'll even notice a difference between the old and new. It works really well.

So true, the conception of speed in these cars. I have a E350 and when going 100mph, it’s like I’m standing still. My next car will be the E53.

Facinating car. Very informative & helpful review. Seems excessive in too many respects. Comfort, quiet and stability are impressive. Did an excellent job of selling a normal E class.

Another cool review, Thomas! The dashboard A/C diffusers design should be changed, The carbon fiber strip to be replaced by horizontal blades like in the steering wheel and then the A/C diffusers should be integrated within those blades so sure concealed! Cheers! 🎵✨🍻

I think this E63S is AWESOME! Best one yet IMO. If I weren’t already won over by Tesla with my current P100D, I would get this for sure!

Something I absolutely approve of is the use of slightly smaller sized wheels and bigger tyres.
Huge wheels look really nice, but the ride quality suffers, and MB cars should ride well no matter how much performance they have.

Something is missing in the appearance of the Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG.
I feel the same. I think it’s these new headlights which make it look less aggressive than the pre facelift in photos but from everyone that I have heard they say that it looks much more aggressive in person.

After seeing the updated BMW M5 competition pack I was eager to see this E63s. Mec interior always the best design. However the exterior of BMW M5 and Audi RS6 are way better. The rest we talk after carwow drag races.

One option could be ”4K, full screen and full length”. But it seems that since Thomas is so concerned with the ”internet bandwidth”, we are stuck with the full HD for the many many years to come! Maybe it will change in 2040, who knows 😁

Mercedes is losing on the exterior styling and the aggressive AMG language, BMW is winning now, they’ve got the most aggressive and detailed exterior styling, just like Lexus. But mercedes wins in the interior segment. But either ways, Mercedes is gonna die soon, they already spoilt the S class and the E class looks worse than the older models 💔

What a difference the grill makes in e63 versus standard amg body kit. Still unsure about the new rear, looks Japanese.

E Klass exterior looks way too much like the C Klass these days..!
...but then the E63 AMG S+ is pretty much the best car (function, performance, and looks) available today.

Is it just me or this car does not sound at all? Where is the good, old AMG roaarrrr....
Something just feel a bit too timid with this model, even the 5 series lacks some kind of oomph. I think Audi has just nailed it with their latest A6 both inside and out, compared to BMW and Mercedes.
audi looks kinda cheap though, thats what most people think too
Not sure who most people are, but I have only heard praise from everyone. Even Thomas mentioned in his video on the A6 that the Audi is marginally ahead of it’s rivals. Besides I know styling is subjective but the Audi just looks cleaner and sportier.
@@sanderson27 if you look at the number of sales globally or even just in the US, and also their pricing, you will see the Audi lags behind both the BMW & Mercedes counterparts.
Audi sure has some nice technology in their cars, but Tesla is now the top choice for people who want technology. and Audi designs just aren't as timeless as Mercedes or Porsche (or BMW, until they went downhill with some models this year).
Personally I feel Audi’s current models styling is far ahead of BMW and marginally ahead of MB. Also, you just cant put MB and Porsche in the same bracket because they aren’t even in the same league. MB also has a lot of legacy bias where there are a lot of people that just go for them because they are used to them. I feel their styling is also going backwards which this particular car is good example of, even though their front looked nice (not so much anymore going by this model) in the previous models, the styling on the rear just isn’t special enough for such a premium car, they rather look like any other generic japanese car.

edit: also, there is actually some overlap between Porsche and MB's lineup, so it wasn't unreasonable to compare the two.
