  • Welcome back to our weekly Bois d'Arc Lake update, brought to you by your trusted source for all things Bois d'Arc Lake, C4 Home and Land Team. With heavy rainfall causing the lake to rise, we want to educate our viewers on the guidelines for building docks, as outlined in The NTMWD Shoreline Management Plan.
Did you know that docks are limited to one story and all sides must be open? Enclosed docks are not allowed. Additionally, the maximum size for a private individual lot is 1,000 square feet, with a length and width that cannot exceed 60 feet. Docks must either be fixed or floating pole docks.
Following these regulations is crucial to ensuring the safety and longevity of your dock. Check out The NTMWD Shoreline Management Plan's Section 5 for more information. Stay tuned for more updates, tips, and tricks to help you maximize your lake life experience!
