- ‘Now I’m Here’ was released on 17 January 1975 as a single from the ‘Sheer Heart Attack’ album. The song, written by Brian May, features a dynamic guitar riff and showcases Freddie Mercury’s versatile vocals. May believed it would make a great opening song and since release, it has gone on to become the song Queen have performed live more than any other. This is a terrific album that may get over looked by NATO & ADATR.
When I first saw Queen live, (March 2, 1977) six songs from "Shear Heart Attack" were played along with five songs each from the albums mentioned. For me, it was a fantastic setlist by Queen.
"Now I'm Here" was the opening encore song. It's a great song on an amazing hard album.

When I was a young rocker this tune was a favorite amongst half cover/original bands in my area (Massachusetts), I saw them in Springfield Civic Center, Springfield, MA in early 1977.
