  • Join our 2 week adventure in Germany, from the Netherlands to the Black Forest, Nuremberg to a boat ride down the Rhine, we had a lot of fun. :)
    Edits:
1:04 The city is Nuremberg, not Nuremburg (thank you @haraldlandwehr3936)
10:48 The bunker was part of the Atlantic Wall, not the Siegfried line (thank you @fredklein9005)

Always interesting as a German to see the country through the eyes of someone who sees it for the first time.

Image management and editing are incredible. It's documentary-like. That's awesome. Thanks for having us with you.

Thanks for sharing your wonderful trip to Germany. I was a US soldier stationed in northern Bavaria back in the eighties and your video brought back warm memories. I especially liked the photos of currywürst and spaghetti eis.

What a great video and experience! I am really impressed how many places and different landscapes you´ve visited during your trip and how much interesting information you´ve included into this video! I also like the overall "editing" of your video! The music is nice and never to loud or overwhelming, the structuring of your journey into days helps the interested viewer to follow your path and the distance you´ve covered on a map and the pictures and scenes are a beautiful ensemble and mixture of scenery, small details like food, flowers or the "little things" on your path and last but not least a group of likeable, normal people that enjoy their time on a beautiful trip without overacting and using buzzwords like unbelievable, amazing, best of, awesome in every second sentence. Thanks for uploading! All the best to you and your beloved ones! I wish you all the best for your future, stay healthy, take care and thanks for visiting germany and documenting your trip with such a beautiful and informative video!
P.S.: I´m just a little bit confused by your "dates" and math. For example: around the timestamp of 21:20 you say that this church was opened around 1270 and it dates back 1700 years!?🤔

Thank you for the kind words, I really appreciate it! 🙂 That is my mistake about the St Peter's church in Trier, I did not explain the 1700 years of history and I should have stated that differently. The current building is not 1700 years old, but there is 1700 years of history of a cathedral being there at that spot.

Calling Bach "a composer and musician of the baroque era" is the most extreme understatement i have heard this century.

nice video, one little thing, the bunker you visit was most likely of the Atlantic Wall and not the Sigfried-Line. The Atlantic Wall was also build by Germany and was planed to reach from Northnorway to the Border of Spain but because of the few Material the needed to Prioritis some points. The Allies invaded the Netherlands in 1944 actualy for the Point to went around the Sigfried-Line because it was only build to the Southnetherlands.

Somewhere near Paderborn, Widukind was also born. Many in Westphalia revere Widukind much more than Charlemagne. For many years, Widukind defended his people from the Franks, who wanted to Christianize everything there by force. Charlemagne had many thousands of Saxons killed because they did not want to become Christians. Unfortunately, after more than 30 years of war and tens of thousands of dead Westphalians and Saxons, the Franks won. For me, Widukind is the hero.

Americans when they visit us here in Germany get an Automatic by default, because the rental service is worried about Americans breaking the stick shift gearbox. :)

Undesirable is a little bit of an understatement. Worthless is closer to reality…
