Bought this game after watching and have found a few tips for you.
1. Plaster!! Saving time is always great in this game because time is money. I don’t think it’s intended but it works well. The animation for plastering before you can apply it to the wall is horrible. To skip the animation, click on the bucket when empty, switch back to your hands really quick and then back to plaster. You can use it right away and when you get the hang of it, it takes no time at all.
2. Driving. Use spacebar when going around a corner. Once you understand it, it’s so much faster.
3. Trash. If you hold you LMB you see a wheel pop up. You can pick up everything in rapid succession while the wheel is there so you can just hover over items and it will auto pick them up.
4. Money. Buying lots and building cheap houses is the best money maker in the game so far. You can do these quickly with cheap materials. When you’re done, do not sell it. Calculate your expenses of the property and the materials used and then auction it. You can set your starting price to 10k above what you spent on the project and the bids will start rolling in.

first house is the hardest. when you know what you are doing it will finish very quickly.
also don't forget to deco the place before selling. it will boost the price and easier to sell.
I bought the same plot on my save and it is TINY! Even though you use the whole blueprint area.

To my understanding, the Arrow points in the direction of Upwards, so the stairs end in the Bedroom
They do not end in the hallway

i have played this game and i will say that it is fun but it might just be me that has a not so good computer for the specs it requires but the frame drops are real.
i don't have a grand computer that can run anything but id say its really good

Wait doesn't the game reimburse you for everything you buy furniture wise for the jobs? I'm pretty sure it does from watching a few other UA-cam videos. Pretty sure drae doesn't need to cheap out. Iirc when you buy something on sale for a job though you get reimbursed the retail value and not the sale price. So sales can help you make a little extra.
