Great video! We are planning to move out there in the spring, so your videos have helped a lot. We want a smaller town vibe with good local food and shops. But able to get to anywhere easily. Keep up the great content!

Love the beard progression in the intro. Keep it growing! I'll be visiting Asheville and the surrounding areas in a few weeks. So excited to get out of California and start a new life in NC. Maybe I'll stop trimming my beard when I relocate!
Kurt highly recommends not trimming your beard when you relocate! It helps you climb mountains better, haha!

I enjoyed your video, but I’ve got to say I was so disappointed you didn’t mention the awesome train museum in the old train depot when you were down at the Farmer’s Market since it’s right there literally.

Hi Kurt and Sara, I'm from IL and seriously considering moving to Asheville area. May I get your input on affordable rent for 1bd or Studio in safe neighborhood or suburbs?
Hi Shawn, thanks for watching our video! I'd recommend coming down and visiting the area before you move down here. Towns and neighborhoods can vary a lot with cost and vibe. We've never lived in the downtown of Asheville so we can't give any firsthand info on that. However some towns that we really like are Black Mountain, Fletcher, Hendersonville, South Asheville and Arden (we lived in Arden!). We really enjoy nature so we tend to live in quieter areas but if you're into the night life being closer to the city would maybe be better for you? Sorry if we can't be more helpful but there is something for everyone down here so best of luck finding what works for you! Take care!!
