    This is amazing, we go back to our ancients on how clever and knowledgeable they were about breathing, maybe their prayers, were actually that they knew in fact about the frequency on the earth and how we can connect to each other and maybe others out of earth.

    I can truly say that the electromagnetic field of the collectives' hearts can penetrate globally. I remember the day Kobe Bryant and the passengers on the airplane crashed and transitioned very well, because I woke up and was so saddened by something that I couldn't explain....almost in tears. I didn’t know Kobe, but may have heard his name mentioned once, but the sadness was in the ethers and impacted me greatly. What was amazing is the lack of knowledge about the crash, because I hadn't turned on the TV nor looked at my phone, but knew somethingwas going on. Similar thing occurred the day Michael Jackson transitioned; yes, I was sad about it, but the energy of gloom from the collective hovered for weeks. Not only have I sensed it collectively, but from individuals that may or may not be in my presence.....the heart is so amazing and a beautiful gift when we activate through love and compassion. Thank you gentlemen for this interview

    Amazing interview thank you Mike. I’m working on recovering from severe illness that put me in a wheelchair, caused by a virus. Of everything I’ve tried on my healing journey - HeartMath sessions using the Inner Balance gadget with the app - is the thing I keep coming back to as most effective. It lowers HR, increases HRV and deep sleep (tracked with Oura ring) which gradually improves overall wellness. I’ve found five short 10 minute sessions a day more impactful than less, longer sessions. I think because this is slowly retraining the ANS by practicing more often, as Rollin describes in your video.

You must have learned a lot from taking personal action to gain knowledge in this area. What's the most helpful thing you've learned from all this if you don't mind me asking. From breathing in general?

    Excellent interview. Quick question: How often should we be doing coherent breathing - is the goal to get to the point where our everyday breathing is in a coherent rhythm without even thinking about it, or is it just something we practice for 20 to 30 minutes a day. And if it is the later, what is the best way to breath on a regular basis? I heard it's supposed to be soft and slow, with a longer exhale than inhale.

      @@frankfeather8548 Hi Frank, I am studying with Heart Math Institute at present, I just want to share with you what I have learnt so far. Coherent breathing is something that can be done at any time. When you are dealing with depleting emotions such as anger, frustration or a feeling of being overwhelmed and to use the heart focus to change these emotions to renewing emotions such as calm, compassion or appreciativeness. Essentially, it is all about our resilience and this means that we need to have the capacity to prepare for, recover from and adapt in the face of stress or a challenge and be able to face adversity. This must come from within ourselves. Our heart is the little brain in our body and actually sends more information to the brain and the rest of the body than our brain does. When we connect with our heart and with true feelings, we are able to accomplish some amazing things. We can change old habits that have not served us well and also create an energy that can make a shift towards larger goals that connect to others lending strength in the universal energy in a positive way. This is always something you can do any time and anywhere. Heart Math has some great videos at heartmath.org or you can also find lots of meditation videos on youtube. I hope this helps and it you have any questions, I am here.

    0.1 Hz, that's a very low frequency and ordinary bandwidth of information carried by those waves will be low, but I read an article from NIST about using quantum detectors for high bandwidth communication at low radio frequencies. Maybe that's how the heart's magnetic field communicates!

    Really enjoyed this interview, Mike. Quick question: I understand the breathing should be equal on inhale and exhale. Can the breaths be longer, like 8 seconds in, 8 seconds out or is it best to stay around 5 seconds for each breath? Thank you for your time and congratulations on almost reaching 100,000 subs!👍🎉

    • @beedebawng2556

    • @manifestationwithsami
      @manifestationwithsami 2 роки тому +9

      I tested the heartMath tool, which shows heart coherence. I did both cases, 5 seconds inhale and exhale, or 8 seconds both! I experienced that it doesn't make too much difference if you do them in 5 or 8 seconds. What is the most important thing is to stay in 1 rhythm for your whole meditation.
      Also, I suggest that you don't force yourself for longer seconds inhale-exhale, as everyone has its own power of breathing. I feel more relaxed with 5 seconds, and if I want to do it 8 seconds, it wouldn't be too easy for me, but my friend can do it easily 8 seconds.

    • @violinwithRosemary
      @violinwithRosemary 2 роки тому +1

      @@manifestationwithsami Thanks for taking the time to share your experience. Really appreciate it :-) Lately I've been doing Forrest Knutson's HRV breathing videos on his channel. He encourages people to pick the speed that feels the most comfortable. I've found that I can breath more slowly first thing in the morning than at the end of the day. So, I guess it's best to just listen to your body in the moment and know that even the same person can experience different levels of comfort with different breathing speeds at different times. Thanks so much again for your input. Have a great day 🙂

    • @manifestationwithsami
      @manifestationwithsami 2 роки тому +1

      @Violin with Rosemary Yes, that’s true, to listen to our body to discover the best breathing rhythm. 👍👍
      This is the same as experiencing high emotions during this meditation. Although it has been emphasized to focus on gratitude, care (self-care), compassion, and appreciation feelings, I don’t limit myself only to these feelings. I guess everyone knows the best which emotions can trigger our feelings better. We should listen again to our hearts!!! So, I try to select the emotion that can bring me good vibrations.
      I wish you lots of love and success in your meditation. 😍

    26:19 Nobody has been able to answer this question for me: Is this "5 second breath" the optimal cadence, or a minimum recommendation such that it would be beneficial to breathe even slower than that? Mr. McCraty seems to suggest it is the perfect cadence, but what would happen if I breathe slower?

    • @minifix

      @@minifix It's certainly not preferable to inhale through the mouth... upscaled exposure to pathogens, bad facial structure, etc. The simple act of putting focus on the breath gives cadence to rhythms of the body just like being conscious and aware of anything does. I'm sure it bares no consequence onto the effect he's describing.

    • @seaoftra
      @seaoftra Рік тому +1

      5 second breath is the most optimal for hrv. You can breathe faster or slower it will just move the coherence spectrum in different directions. If you breathe faster, your coherence spectrum will be in HF range, which is parasympathetic based. Other way if you breathe slower.
