- Hello and welcome to a very special episode as today we are visiting the CEX store which has the largest selection of Xbox 360 games in the whole of the U.K.!
That’s right folks, on the day of our visit CEX in Kings Lynn had the largest number of different Xbox 360 titles of any CEX store in the U.K. , and I do mean HAD as I managed pick up some amazing games to fill some of the gaps in my large Xbox 360 collection.
How large is my colection you may be asking? Stick around until the end of this video to find out as with the addition of the games we add to the collection this time, we hit a real milestone in my Xbox 360 collection!

What is the attraction of 360 games when it's a few generations old? Don't get me wrong, I still have a 360 but I haven't touched it for years.
@@zidermakesispooky it was such a good age of gaming, so many games which broke the mould and challenged what we saw as games, it was a generation of great inspiration and risk taking and gave us some of the best games ever made, due to the HD nature if the game most of the games also still stand up today visually
It's the main console I collect for at the moment.
@@apemoon1731 it’s a great console to collect for and must be a difficult time at the moment with pricing, but keep it up!
Prices are just being hiked due to FOMO I’ve nothing against these types of videos but they don’t help the price increases. Nothing special about the games. I’ll guarantee some of these prices will drop. I’m just lucky I collected back during the generation when most where just a quid each. I can’t believe Velvet assassin is £28 on CEX all because people are talking about it on UA-cam that’s it.
@@Gamegodz76 it will be very interesting to see what happens with prices over the next year or so and I must admit I am picking up a lot of games due to FOMO, but thankfully a lot of these aren’t overtly expensive

Great video. The Xbox 360 was the console that made me want to get back into gaming after around a 10 year hiatus of not owning any consoles. It was seeing Gears of War that did it for me. I’ve just passed 206 physical games and have added quite a lot over the last month.
@@IanMartinScreenwriter it was probably the first console that I really “collected” for as such, when it was the current gen I somehow amassed 100 games for it and never looked back lol.
It’s a great console and so great to be seeing so much love for it recently!
You are right, KL has (one of the) biggest selection of 360 games in all the CEX's.... But.... Even though I am the one that used to pillage the Evesham store (for obvious reasons) my dear old Mum has been pillaging KL for me for years. 😜. It's always been a great store for 360 stuff. Oddly enough, I am going there next week but as I have so much 360 stuff there are only a couple of games they have I am after. (then it's off to the retro retreat although that isn't as good as it was)
@@theeveshamgamer yeah Kings Lynn is great and has an amazing selection of stores, it’s always great to be the one who grabs the best stuff first when it comes into your local CEX store, but you have to be so quick and always good to have other people looking for you also

0:52 that number can change and sometimes isn't accurate as some games could have left the store but are still listed with a 0 by the in stock value

My son of 9 yr old has started collecting for OG Xbox and Xbox 360. Yeh shits getting mad for the prices.
Yeah there’s some super expensive titles now for each for sure but especially with the Xbox 360 you can still find some decent inexpensive games at carboots and charity shops

Dead rising off the record is a quality game and nice to have a physical copy but you can get it on the one/series store.
Can’t wait to jump into it! It’s good to know you can also get it via the Xbox store
@@DanTheGamesMan I saw it on there recently. I would still rather have it physically though. With the remakes coming out though I wouldn't be surprised if it gets a re-release.
@@Kenno10rapid yeah I think they’ve done a few previous re releases such as “Franks Big Package” which contains the first 3 games on one disk
@@DanTheGamesMan I've never played one all the way through. The only one that really interests me is off the record. I picked it up recently for the PS3 but I'm not sure that version is going to cut it. I'll probably seek out the 360 version before I get round to playing it.
Honestly theres some great bangers out there i collect for ps3 aswell 500 ya worse than me 😂😂 must have at lease 300 xbox 360 maybe about 400 ps3 games
@@mufc10529 sounds like an amazing collection and I also collect for the PS3, smaller collection as most games that where realised on both consoles I got on Xbox 360
Don't understand why the price of Spec Ops: The Line keeps rising, it's on the backwards compatible list so won't be getting delisted with the closure.
Sadly Spec Ops the Line was delisted from online stores earlier this year and it seemingly lit a spark with physical collectors and in a way marked the start of Xbox 360 physical prices starting to rise

thor unfortunately wasnt one of those good marvel titles, captain america though is pretty decent. congrats on the xbox collection milestone also!

Woopie doo I'm collecting for my xbox360 only the lower priced games because I already own the expensive ones from yrs ago
Most of the games I brought new at retail prices so a lot probably cost me more as such, I was never bragging just pointing out why I left certain titles behind
Found all sorts of games I bought yrs ago likes of godfather Simpsons movie ect couldn't believe how they risen in price @@DanTheGamesMan
This store will run out of stock if cex keep giving people peanuts for their games.
Already been to a couple of cex stores and the xbox 360 section has been reduced to a couple of shelves, it's looking more like the wii u section every time I visit cex.
It’s definitely shrinking that’s for sure and it will be interesting to see how prices change over the next few months after the online store closes
@@DanTheGamesMan it's upto sellers if they want to offload their games to cex or give them the middle finger 🖕
If it's the latter, cex's business is in jeopardy.
What people are doing now is buying game's from cex then selling them on ebay, cutting cex out of the picture and cex stock is not getting replenished.
@@healthbeauty7853 I think a lot of people are smart with what the sell to CEX only really trading games in which CEX overpays for or comes close to what they would sell for on eBay just without fees and postage
@@DanTheGamesMan game retail is ending preorders August 1st 2024, so no new game exclusive steelbooks or preorder bonuses like the call of duty modern warfare 2 or sonic frontiers steelbooks are going to be traded in. Game will still process preorders up until the 1st of January 2025, the call of duty black ops 6 steelbook will be the last steelbook they have. Once game retail stops selling video games it's going to effect cex's business.

for reviews i think u shoudnt look at the score because most of them are writing by a person who gets 2/7 days to play it and revieuw it while they arent gamers.
