Thank you I have a comment on slide 29 should be residual oil saturation instead of gas saturation as this one close to 0

Great presentation!! Could you share from which book you made this presentation? or maybe just suggest me some good books for water-flooding?

Reservoir engineering is a discipline in the oil and gas industry that focuses on optimizing the recovery of hydrocarbons from reservoirs. Waterflooding is a common method used in reservoir engineering to increase the recovery factor of hydrocarbons by injecting water into the reservoir to displace the oil and gas.
The following are some aspects of waterflooding in reservoir engineering:
    1. Water injection strategy: The water injection strategy involves determining the optimal location, rate, and pattern of water injection to maximize oil recovery. This involves considering factors such as reservoir properties, well performance, and economic considerations.
    2. Reservoir simulation: Reservoir simulation is a computer-based modeling technique used to predict the behavior of fluids and rock properties in a reservoir under different scenarios. It helps to optimize the waterflooding strategy by predicting the performance of the reservoir under different water injection rates, patterns, and well configurations.
    3. Well performance analysis: Well performance analysis involves analyzing the performance of individual wells in a reservoir to determine their productivity and efficiency. This information is used to optimize the water injection strategy by identifying high-performing wells that can be used for water injection and low-performing wells that may need intervention or abandonment.
    4. Water management: Water management involves managing the volume and quality of produced water in a reservoir. This involves considering factors such as disposal options, environmental considerations, and economic feasibility.
    5. Risk assessment: Risk assessment involves identifying and quantifying the uncertainties associated with waterflooding and developing strategies to mitigate them. This includes considering factors such as reservoir heterogeneity, well integrity, and operational risks.
In summary, reservoir engineering aspects of waterflooding involve developing an optimal water injection strategy, using reservoir simulation to predict performance, analyzing well performance, managing produced water, and assessing risks associated with waterflooding.flooding is a common method used in reservoir engineering to increase the recovery factor of hydrocarbons by injecting water into the reservoir to displace the oil and gas.
