- On day 3 of my bikepacking journey across the Visayas region, I cycle down from Balamban on a crazily steep road. Dropping almost 1000m of elevation, I arrive at the port in Toledo just in time to catch the ferry across to San Carlos City in Negros. Here I explore the local swimming spots before planning the next leg of my journey throughout Negros.

This is a challenging journey with a bike alone and filming at the same time. From port to port catching a ferry on an island-hopping adventure in the Philippines. Awesome guy and amazing feat. 👍

Why don't u buy a motorcycle for easy to ride and fast. Its hot here in our country your sweat is like a river flowing around your body by your bicycle.

A new kind of adventure to an underrated Negros, lets see what will you discover thru bike lane, i just hope some unexplored will not be discovered , i remember some blogger made some sight in Negros become touristy now and it lost its taste of unexplored wonder, any way good luck, have fun and discover it Jack, you dont need strength you can pick up sugar anywhere you go, lol

Negros is my hometown. I went home last week to climb a neighborhood province "Canlaon" the bike ride took 15 hours.. everything went well

My wife's father and his lads used to ride round cebu (literally around cebu island) with their XC's and it usually took them 2 days to finish the ride. Me and a couple of friends tried the same thing but ended up finishing the southern part in 2 days with no strength left to finish the journey. It is a painful struggle but nevertheless an EPIC journey and it is indeed the best way to truly experience the joy of travelling around the island. Keep up the good work. Hope to see a lot more video of yours travelling around the country with your bike.
