What an amazing island! I love the art, mountain, beaches, swim to the tiny island church, cool trees on the hike and cute goats with their bells on, and the peaceful morning sounds! It’s nice that this island was less touristy and so glad for the kite surfing joy!! Fabulous!
Umm, those figs made my mouth water. Love them fresh. Greece is truly beautiful, food for my tired eyes and spirit. The water is so blue and clear. If I ever get there, I'll never leave. Thanks for the video.

Eating a carob seed pod... I never thought to do that. My elementary school had carob trees all over the place and we played with the pods as swords, but at the time no one knew what they were called. Years later we started cooking with “imitation chocolate” powder. My goodness, all I had to do was pick it off the ground.
Hiking with goats. How fun. They looked to be showing you some of the best places to stand. There was a whole goat’s head shape in the rocks around the cave. So cool.

We were there during August. Water was colder than the Med of Spain. We absolutely loved the calm clear waters in Greece 💙
I really wanted to rent a motorcycle in Cuba but all I could find was 50cc scooters - clapped out Chinese things - the throttle needed to be operated like a switch, fully open for a slight push, closed to coast. Forget climbing even gente grades with two of us. I kept saying I'm coming back next time with my 300, let em see a real bike in action! That's so cool you could get one to haul you both around there. And congrats to Britt for a successful first ride! We have two grandkids riding solo now, ages 6 and 8.

Hello! To rent a motorcycle do you need a specific license or with a car license is it enough? I have been told by other travelers who do not apply for a type B license although they apply for them on the pages, could you help me with this information? Thank you!
Just get an international driver's license. Greece requires this in many rental cases. You can get one at AAA. I don't recall but I do not think they cared about my motorcycle endorsement on my drivers lic. Have fun!

Hello! What month/week etc did you visit in?
August 2021. It was a great time when few were there that year.
My grandfather came here in the 1800's and was the only boy in his family so at 13 they sent him to America by himself to make money. He made 13 cents a week and sent 10 cents to Greece. His family lives on Samos one of the most beautiful islands. If you want to find them and tell them I sent you they would let you stay with them. Nick Stamition I am not sure how they pronounce it Stamitou I think. He had 4 sisters. It is close to Turkey and there may be problems there right now so consider that if you go
