My husband, Jeff, & I were married in Oia in 9/11/1998. It was so magical. We went with the photographer to the sunset watch in our wedding clothes & were congratulated in more languages than I think exist. We love Santorini & Santorini loves us!

You said it.. that place is one big postcard. Love all the white buildings especially lit up at night. Fascinating place. Bet the food was great too.
As a Greek, I may not be very objective but l think that like Greece nowhere. Is truly amazing how a small country like Greece can offer so many great and different things. From the ancient times as the birthplace of Democracy, drama,comedy, tragedy, theatre,maths, literature,poets, philosophy, philology, geography, biology, astronomy, physics etc... to the spectacular views, amazing beaches, countless beautiful islands, picturesque villages , gorges, volcanoes, alpine landscapes, rivers, lakes, and all that compine with the tasty food, the nice music, feasts and the feeling of freedom and carefree that Greece offers. 250 days of sunshine is enough to make us happy.

Drew- hold on to your Tiny Dancer in the ocean lest the waves sweep her away, she’s so little! The motorcycle is perfect for exploration here. Brought back lots of great memories of riding. There is nothing like the feeling of riding a bike.

I just hope that people understand that, mental health problems can effect anyone, and if you are dealing with mental health problems/Issues, you are not alone. There is nothing wrong with seeking out help. I will not lie, and say it is easy to ask for help, but once you do, your life will change for the better! Trust me, I know, I did.. Amazing video! Thanks for the tour. When I was in Santorini in May 1973, there were no buildings by the black sand beaches. We camped out there.

Absolutely stunning. The water was beautifully clear. I did feel sorry for the donkey's though, although they looked pretty healthy but had no shade. I hope the other tourist were as kind as you and used shank's pony ( using your own legs, walking ) Looking forward to your next destination. Take Care & Stay Safe, Hugs UK.
My wife and I were in Greece around the same time. We went to Athens Milos and Sifnos. Similar islands to Mykonos and Santorini but way cheaper and less crowded.
We must have just missed each other. Stay tuned for next weeks episode to see where else we visited.

I had an opportunity to visit Santorini in 2004, to attend a destination wedding. I had started a new exciting job at an international airline sales office, so I didn't go to the wedding. Happy you went and I can see what I missed.

Enjoyed your watching your visit to Santorini. I had a memorable visit to that magical island several years ago after graduating from college and remember watching the spectacular sunsets. I stayed in a hotel in Oia and the room prices were quite reasonable then. The island looks much more crowded now and it sounds like it's much more expensive?

@@Mrandmrsadventure i love the smaller less touristy islands. Antiparos, Koufonisia, Milos is spectacular, Agistri, Elafonisos, Southern Peloponnesus where I am from, and of course my favourite Gavdos. Greece is beautiful anywhere you go though!
