I like the RLs too! Also, just a little information. On the early K5HLs it’s just the 2 piece 1L bell that is sand cast. The 1,2,3,4 are die cast. The raised letters rolled out with the single piece die cast 1L.
@@theidiotwithinternet there are going to be some bore depth differences on certain bell numbers particularly in this 2000s period. Blake here on UA-cam I’m sure has some videos going in depth detail on these changes.
These always had a “nostalgic” sound to them. Excellent horn.
Man, what a nice sounding early K5HL horn. I miss the old Airchime castings before the sharp RL came in around '08. Great audio Elliot.
Yes sir. I always joke that since this audio turned out so well that I’ll never have to run it again. Thanks buddy.
I love these horns, K5HL'S ARE GODLY, #SUPPORTK5HL
Love the hashtag!
Sound I grew up to when BNSF first started getting ES44DCs
I like these horns. But I love the raised letter die-cast ones best.

@@EPWI92 wow I guess that sand cast ks1l Bell is what makes the entire difference
@@DrummerForJesusSabianAAX there are some other tuning factors also between the Non RL K5HLs and the RLs
@@EPWI92 sorry it might be a lot but could I ask what a few are? This is all very interesting ticme

Classic 🙌
Damn I want 😲💯🔥
What unit it came from? I bet a 2005 BNSF ES44DC
No idea. Has to be right around that range though.
