Love the washer and dryer idea. We ended up stacking our washer and dryer to build out a pantry in our small house. One thing to consider, though make sure you get a good washer that has self venting or something like that to prevent having to leave the door open. If it isn't vented, it will mold and meldew. If you are anything like me, you will go crazy with the door open in the narrow walkway.

The old place with the washer and dryer could be turned into storage under the stairs. Love idea of getting the laundry upstairs plus it will be a selling feature
That's the plan! I'd love to have a dedicated storage space inside the house! Then Christian can have the entire garage for whatever he wants instead of sharing it with all my Christmas decor!
