The lady with the board thing fighting tears was so pure.
Her tears were because she would be unemployed from the next day
@@maitreyakanitkar8742 You really know how to ruin the moment, eh ? 🤣🤣

The fact that you called it "board-thing" is even more pure.
It doesn't even feel like it's ended because I always take up any random episode, watch it and still enjoys it. The charm never disappears ♥️
Same for me.
Thank G-D 4 reruns. ❤
It's a very sad scene until you remember that the very next scene would be Monica and Chandler struggling to get two baby carriers down the stairs. Tempers would flair. Ross would yell PIVOT. Chandler would say something inappropriate to break the tension. Monica would yell COME ON. Joey would say "aww, you're scaring the babies".
: p
thankyou for this. i needed this.
You're most welcome☺️❤️
I read that in exactly Monica’s voice. Ahaha I love how masculine and competitive she can be
Oh I can hear this happening😭
5 mins later
Ross: i just want to be married again
Chandler: and i just want a million dollars
That's LITERALLY me! Everytime I watch the last episode I just HAVE to watch the first episode after that. XD

-Could we have one last coffee?
-Sure... where? Matthew's last line, the last word spoken in Friends, takes on a new and painful meaning today. 💔
RIP Matt, and thanks for the laughs and all those beautiful moments that we will not forget.
It straight away made me cry
You know he was wasn’t supposed to say that line. They’ve already taken down the central perk room so there wasn’t one anymore and whenever she said have one last coffee Matt said where being funny & the producers thought it was funny and left it in.
He was a master of improv!! He supposedly did it all the time during the series and they often kept it in because he was so damn great at it!! 😢😢😢
I can't believe he's gone 😢
They will all meet again for one last coffee someday in heaven 😢
That lady with tears totally stole the show
Her emotions and sadness was so pure💔
That "where" was a perfect final line.
Central Perk. It will always be Central Perk. The one place where everyone hangs out.
Yes, it truly was. ❤
They didn't act... They were just real... It's so pure🖤
I cried. My wife knows I hate last episodes because I get emotional about them, but this one is still the toughest. Such a well written show with incredible actors that were impeccably casted.
Friends always felt personal. With my imaginary flatmates and friends across the hall. ❤️

All these years later, & this scene still makes me tear up. It hits even harder now that Matthew's gone.
Truly the saddest when you think other shows go on for 30+ years... we would never have got tired of all of them 💕
What shows?
@@HermanFalckHow I think the simpsons has been going for 30 years. There's also a few soap operas in the UK that have been going for over 30 years.
The bold & the beautiful , I remember it being on TV when I was kid. I looked it up & its on season 35.
@@markgreen5153 Funny when you think of how The Simpsons started, as a little 2-minute clip on The Tracy Ulman show.
Yeah, but those are cartoons and soap operas. The soap operas have a constant revolving door of cast. When it's the same characters, they don't last as long. Longest was Frasier. And man, that show remained consistent and witty to the end!
Seeing this now makes it even more heartbreaking... Rest in Peace, Matthew Perry. 💔
When u realise that when Joey comes back, there'll be no one across the hall anymore.
Edit: My apologies
This comment made me cry. I’m literally crying as I type this
Fun fact: Joey was the only one who moved away from New York 😅 He moved to Hollywood to become a more serious actor and later retired and moved with Alex to Venice Beach to open a sandwich shop. As far as we know, the other five stayed in New York.

@@TDKiller415 wait where did you get that from?
@@PranavRaju_ In the sequel series "Joey", he moves to Hollywood to take his acting career more seriously and falls in love with his building superintendent Alexis, and in the reunion, Matt says Joey probably retired to Venice Beach and opened and sandwich bar.

End of an Era! R.I.P Matthew Perry
The saddest moment in TV history is a bit strong, but it's surely tear-inducing.
I was thinking the same. So many TV shows have sad upsetting endings because it's such a big thing for the cast, crew and fans but making it out like this is the saddest moment in TV history just because it's Friends? No.
@@joevictor53 Good to see you're not a blind fan
I think they need to qualify this statement too. It may well be one of the saddest moments in a TV sitcom, but I see 10+ things a day which is sadder then this.
Saddest TV moment? Clearly someone hasn't seen the last scene from Blackadder goes forth. Lol

Didn't cry a single tear watching the reunion but when the lady with the clapboard couldn't hold her tears anymore, neither could I.

Guys. It's a TV show. Get it together and calm down and go experience something in your life worth caring about this deeply
I binge-watched friends in 2015 and after the last episode i felt so empty inside… anytime i get sad i watch random episodes of these series or bloopers, always make my day better ♥️
You need to stop watching these things alone, maybe with someone. :)
I'm currently watching through all of Friends again and I'm almost at this point once more, it never gets easier watching them finish up this show but it was all worth it in the end. For me, Friends will always be my comfort blanket.
Just finished it for the first time ever!...didn t have a TV in the 90s and 00s....I am tempted to start it right again...but I ll wait a few days ;-)...best show I have ever seen...besides Ellen (at least the first 4 seasons, 5 (and last) was to boring somehow...)

That seen STILL brings tears to my eyes! wtf! Even more so now
I wish there was a way to know you're in the good old days before you've actually left them.
I think every day is the good ol days but are not appreciated until you look back.
That's why they say to make the most of every day
Wow, very well said
I was a 90's 20 something guy and a group of "friends" would watch this Thursday nights. I am amazed that today my 16 year old daughter and her friend group know this show as well as I do, maybe better. She was born 3 years after the show ended. Pretty amazing.
I’m now rewatching the show with my children and we crack up soooo much!!!!! We all have our favorites :-) but we still love them all!!!!! The whole production was gold!!!!!! The humor is TIMELESS!!!!! Being a writer on the show must’ve been the bomb!!!!!!
Honest question, do you have to explain concepts like an answering machine to the children? Or, in the beginning, that none of the adults have a mobile phone? Various plot lines hinge on what is now outdated technology/styles of communication.
(if you do, great :D)
@@yaehfree my children are sooo used to me going off on how it was in my day! I tell them about polaroids, typewriters, flip phones, blackberries, fax machines. For the most part they get it all, (maybe not all the sexual innuendos) but they laugh hysterically with most of the episodes!
Plus i would always give them previews by setting up the episode and they rather enjoyed that! Sometimes they were like “okay Mom don’t tell us the whole episode” lol! They really think it’s interesting when i tell them facts about the show: like Joey breaking his arm in real life and how they wrote it into the show, like the actors laughing hysterically with PIVOT!, like how Chandelor thought up a plan so Janice wouldn’t like next to him and Monica, or how the producers took all the actors to Vegas before they started filming so they coukd authetucally know each other and be “real friends” in real life, etc.
just now we were coming back from school and the song where “Monica” is pulled from the audience and dances with Bruce was playing on the radio and my children find that all very interesting! I told them how the actors all stuck together and negotiated their contracts and that it was Ross’s idea to all ask for tge same amount independent of who was more or less famous…. I also told them about the spin-off and how “Rachelle” made a whole bunch of really good movies! We really like Friends here lol!
Mathew Perry *WHERE* was Improvised

@@nyagechiram9761 The caffe set had been replaced by the airport set for Rachel and the scenes were all done for that, so there was never going to be that set anymore. And he basically asks, "Where?"
Wow...who knew, an actor can improvise!? A whole word?
You can tell the last line was improvised by Perry judging by the reactions of the others 😂
Yeah actually, the coffee shop was destroyed to make the set of the aeroplane (last scene). So this was their inside joke, as Central Perk didn't exists anymore

Who else is here after hearing about Mathew Perry passing away?💔
Thanks for everything, Matthew! It brightened up many days of my life and that of many Brazilians
It's so exciting to be part of something like this and you begin to feel like you're at the top of the world but when it comes to an end it's difficult to believe it is over and it can be so scary. They must have felt sad and scared, moving on is hard, I can imagine when you head off out into the world and actually find a job where it's a dream, gives you a second family, builds you up, and watches you grow up, it's a fantasy and wish it never ended. They must feel so grateful to have been a part of this. My sister watches Friends every now and then for a laugh but I can't. Don't know, makes me miss those days and makes me sad it's over, I was a a teen, in high school when we watched this. Those were the simplest moments I wish to go back to. Monica was my fav.
This actually makes me cry I love this show so much
I miss matthew perry
As they said, comfort food sitcom. As timeless as it can be
I am only in my Season 4 since I just started watching FRIENDS last month because it kept on appearing on my Facebook timeline and I thought I could give it a shot. (I'm 22 y/o btw and wasn't even born yet when the show first aired) At first I can truly relate to their themesong since I am a broke college graduate student, who's still waiting for my job callback. But watching and seeing how the show progressed, I felt like I could relate to all the 6 main characters in some way.
FRIENDS touched my heart in a way that I could not explain. Watching this felt like home, like I have these 6 best people as my friends across the hall who will always have my back. Thank you so much. Thank you so much FRIENDS for letting me feel like I was a part of your adventure! ❤️
FRIENDS never end coz we all are watching this till death ❤ Best show ever made

R.i.p Matthew... Thank you for the laughs, and i mean it.
Yet we all know next day it would be again be, chandler asking for 1 million dollars
I remember the last show…how sad that it ended!! When I can catch it I love to watch the

I binge it at least 4 or 5 times a year and everytime I purposefully finish the episode right before this scene. Only once I watched it when it was originally aired in 2006 (in my country). I was just 14 and haert broken about how sad it was. Saddest moment is when the camera spanned in to the purple door.
And in the end
The love you take
Is equal to the love you make.
I didn't watch a single episode till about 10 years after it finished but I'm so glad I did such an amazing show
I watched the entire series for the first time back in 2009 after buying the DVD box set. I haven't stopped watching it since...

Although friends ended really well , the fact that it was over made me cry my eyes out while watching the last minutes of the last episode.
Rip Chander! You will be missed by us all 😢
Friends reminds me of my adolescents literally touches my heart like no other TV series!
I have never been so attached with a freakin' show, FRIENDS taught me how to live my life.
I have watched the whole series billions of time but the finale only few. It can be the funniest episode but it's the ending so it's sad.
I usually end it when Rachel shows up at Ross's apartment.
To play those characters for so long has to feel just as real as any real family. They're all extremely lucky to have shared such a profound experience with each other and to entertain billions doing it. Not to mention the fact that those performances will continue to entertain for who knows how long and how many generations.
I can feel what the clapper was feeling, its really sad and heartbreaking when a show that ran for 10 long years with the same main cast and crew and I can only imagine the beautiful bonding and friendship between them, they would miss the laughs, the everyday schedule for shots, the set, the usual props in the set, the new scripts for each scene everyday, it must have been a great feeling, especially when the workplace is more like a party, friends get together, they had so much fun, its evident. It was work but also lots of fun.
