Mega Man Celebrates it's 30th anniversary with it's latest release Mega Man 11 for Steam/Xbox One/ PS4/SWITCH. This is the Evolution of Mega Man Defeating the evil Dr. Wily through the years!
Fun Fact: The voice actor for Torbjorn in Overwatch is the same voice actor for Doctor Wily in Mega Man 11

So, from what I'm getting from this video, the plot of the Mega Man series is basically "How many times do we have to teach you this lesson, old man?!"
That's what it becomes after 8.
At this point, I’m not going to be surprised if Mega Man quotes that line verbatim in the next game.
Well, In Megaman X It's also the same thin with sigma,
But in Megaman Zero and ZX games, It's mostly:

I mean he was fed up with it in 7 and almost killed Wily. in 8, Bass, and 9 he knows this is getting very old. Hell, in 9, wily was shown a flashback of the previous attempts and was always doing the same old embarrasing “forgive me” shtick every time Mega Man defeats him.

11.) Dr. Light offers Wily to atone from his crimes and join him
I can't tell if I love his defeat in 9 or 11 more, they're both so perfect, just the aura of "HOW MANY TIMES DO I NEED TO TEACH YOU THIS LESSON OLD MAN!?" makes them top tier video game villain defeats
I love how protoman helps megaman but also beats the hell out of him during the game

Best part is that Mega went Light (pun very intended) on him. He only showed MM1-8 and Megaman & Bass. He could have SO showed the gameboy games, Megaman I-V (especially IV where he literally tried to kill Mega Man with a giant mech and V where he lost even through he had SPACE ALIEN ROBOTS, A not-Death Star, literally all of the Rockman Killers, and a Doomsday Weapon Robot lolololol). And Super Adventure. And Rockman Strategy.

It may not be true to the original script, but I honestly love it because realistically, ANYONE in Mega Man's position would be sick of Wily's shit. Especially after that hellish final boss fight.

The final NES megaman, it was supposed to be the end of the whole series, so the ending is convlusive, the. Megaman X and megaman 7 continued the series with different plans. Both are great, just a fun fact
