hello friend~
it's been awhile since i did a "what i eat in a week" video and i thought it would be fun to share some summer recipes i've been into lately! this is also my first WIEIAW video while living alone, so a lot of it is me surviving off of leftovers because usually when i cook i make enough for multiple people hehe. i hope this video gives you some recipe ideas, or, at the very least, provides you with some calming cooking/eating asmr.
i get a lot of recipes from cooking blogs i follow, but as i have become a seasoned home cook i have picked up on some skills that have allowed for me to create dishes of my own ideas. i've linked the recipes i follow below, but for the rest i came up with on my own. i won't be sharing the mushroom tuna pasta though because i wasn't a fan of it (aside from the food poisoning... lmao).

It is super to live alone. If you have a few trusted friends and close family ties.. I highly recommend it.
I felt ultimate freedom which can be scary and making you feel completely lost. Try to get a routine of household chores, cooking times and groceries. In the beginning you might feel alone try to get out of the house and meet friends or go walking. One of the most important things i did was decorating my room with lights to make me feel at home. Maybe yours are plants or cushions, but that really helped me. I hope you'll enjoy your first few months of liberty ☺️ let me know how it's going :)
Its kinda freeing honestly, you can just do stuff on your own time. The scariest part for me now that I live alone is "wtf do I wanna eat for dinner". Toilet paper I only have to buy like once a month since nobody else uses it (the big 24 packs).
This is so cute! And Idk about the rest, but I do my best to not remember anyone's upload time because I just like getting really excited when they come up on my home screen because it's like a little gift, so I never mind if videos are pushed back. Also, the longer less frequent vlogs are totally cool too! I like how it makes me kinda slow down with life instead of just blowing through every video less than 10 minutes. Your vlogs help me slow down and get some relaxation instead of rushing everything in life. I love them! Thank you! You're so cool!

You should get a cutting board with Silicone on the side or bottom so it's not moving while cutting. Makes it so much easier and safer aswell 🙂

Brie is an aged cheese so it "breaks" when heated to high temperatures which is why the things you make with it are sometimes greasy. Everything looked delicious, but if you did want to cut down on that the solution is to either used a less aged cheese or to add the brie later (when there's less heat) and let it melt with residual heat like cooking pollack roe in pasta.
Her voice is so relaxing! But her “living alone vlogs” remind me of Michelle Choi who has been blogging “living alone” for such a long time now.
These foods are amazing, you have great presentation skills. 😊 Your vlogs are so relaxing and you are one my most fav UA-camrs. I have always been nervous to try salad 🥗 but the fact that you eat it made me try it, now I’m more healthy and happy! ❤❤ I love how these videos are both realistic and aesthetically pleasing at the same time, many UA-camrs are either only realistic or only aesthetically pleasing. hi a tip for when you’re cutting anything on ur cutting bord, put a wet kitchen towel/paper thingy underneath so it won’t move that much

For the dry pasta you could always add a little olive oil as a dressing or add some milk with some flour when cooking to get a sauce :)

When taking the skin of the salmon here a tip cut the other end (where it dips) it makes it easier to peel of (at least with my experience).

if you want a saucy pasta sauce add pasta water to your sauce and mix it. it makes even cheese and pasta super creamy.

Love your videos so much! I own some wooden utensils myself, you want to be really careful what you re-season them with, mineral oil, or some sort of beeswax compound is what’s recommended, as cooking oils can go rancid.
