Hi Ian, your Mesonauta are very beautiful! The air compressor for your tanks is an excellent system. You have a great control box for your reef aquarium.
Hey Marco! Thanks, I bought them as f1 M. acora from a local breeder. I'm excited to finally have a central air compressor, I have so many smaller pumps running costing up electric plugs. I'm also planning on expanding my control box to run the whole fishroom
@@atkinsnatureaquariums3552 Having many aquariums you can make a centralized air system with a hose that runs around the perimeter of the room. I use Hilea piston compressors (Chinese) which consume and cost little but make a lot of air, the drawback is that they make a bit of noise but they are outside the room and isolated in a polystyrene box. Alternatively, there are good membrane compressors, but it is always good to have a spare membrane because the filters stop when they puncture.
Thanks! My hydros Brian is only the x3 so I don't have any back ups yet, but I believe when the kracken releases it will be compatible with all hydros brains
The reef 🪸 is coming along nicely Ian better and better every time we see it. I’m in love with the bubble tbh I was going to buy a big one for 100 but I restrained myself 😅
@@CO.Reefing yeah I don't see many sales for hydros, but well worth the price in my opinion. If you don't want to monitor pH then you can just go with the hydros x2, it's 2 drive ports(for ATO pumps, cooling fans, cabinet lights, ETC) and 2 sense ports,( for temp, water level, skimmers, leak detection ETC) and still have control with the wifi strips or add an XB8, I think the x2 kit is $199 instead of $299 for the x3 kit
@@atkinsnatureaquariums3552 Yeah i hope they post some one day. if anything I am sure I can wait until reef stock haha. I know that is next year but I have been reefing for over 12 years and I just now got into the controller world by using the apex JR on the 80gal. I like it so far but it would be cool to have both and compare.
Looking good, nice reef setup!👍

@@MarcoIsidori yeah mines a membrane pump, Ill get that new part ordered for sure! It's only going to supply air for around 10 tanks
That's a detailed setup - well done!
Is that the hydros that allows battery backup?
subbed 🙂
