Jeesh, leaving Crookham out, you could argue that McG is the best wrestler on the Lehigh team. If it’s not him it’s Beard.
Yeah it's a shame they're both in the same weight class. McG is one of the few (if not only) successful D1 wrestlers out of NH.
@@brendan638 Yeah, one of the reasons I root for him - 4-time NH state champion and 3-time New England champion. Plus, he's an excellent in every phase. I was bummed when he got hurt at EIWAs last year. I really wanted to see what he could do at NCAAs.

Crookham doesn't deserve the #1 spot. Nearly loses to his teammate and beats Vito to get #1? Yes he beat Vito and it was amazing but he nearly loses to teammate? How does he get #1 ranking going from unranked.
Flo's rankings are wacky, but that teammate was ranked #6 and that teammate later in the afternoon beat #5 for 3rd. place (Araujau, beat Coloiocco 8-0, McGonagle beat him 8-2). Intermat has Crookham at #5 which is fine.
NCAA wrestling still allows stalling as just a regular, boring part of matches. They need to implement the international rules of warning a guy for not enough action and then putting him on a shot clock. The second period of the match with Mcgonagle was no action.
The awarding of three points for a takedown has not increased the action. The NCAA needs to do more to make match’s more action filled. Nobody wants to watch guys push, snap and circle over and over. It’s very boring.
Flow recording very poor. You can’t really see the wrestler’s face at all. You need to man a human and not set a tripod at a mile away and record. Nobody gonna subscribe on Flow at this quality.
