Plus I love the short vignettes of info. We have so much to learn & you breaking it down in such an easy way to understand saves us so much time, I’m so glad I found you! Thanks again 🙏
Toward the end of the video you mentioned that alternating treatment design is similar to a functional analysis but that in functional analysis IVs are the conditions rather than treatments…can you provide a quick example of what you mean…it would be really helpful!
Of course! All functional analyses (FAs) experiments are done by doing an alternating treatments design Example: In FAs and alternating treatments designs, each test condition is introduced 1 at a time- 1st, attention condition only (to see if attention is the function of the client's behavior), then attention test condition is stopped. Next, escape/avoidance test condition is introduced alone to test if its the function, and all other test conditions Alternating treatments design = -up 4 conditions looked at at the same time to see which is effective or which is the function in the case of FAs. We hope this helps provide some clarification!

So helpful! As you were explaining everything, I would imagine the design and really hear and visual see the difference!
That is so awesome! We are so happy to hear that! Follow us to keep testing your ABA knowledge!
Omg thank you, this is so helpful!!!
