its hard to see someone cover Grace Slicks vocals but Maya does a wonderful job.
Just what I was thinking! I think the band let her down a bit with not enough definition to the beat throughout. She was stamping to accentuate it. Well done Maya, your Mum must be very proud

Phenomenal- what a performance all round. A great Beatles band and Grace Slick - a combination made in heaven.
I've been joyfully following Maya's career since her "Different Drum" cover on UA-cam appeared. She has everything it takes to be a big star. I firmly believe that if she sang on "American Idol" or "The Voice", all the judges would be blown away. I just don't know if she really wants that. She seems quite content in Mexico City playing in jazz clubs with occasional trips to New York City. Whatever path Maya chooses, she will make people take notice and appreciate the gifts she has been given.

At the age of ten when she performed this song with grace at a festival she made the guitarist jam out… love how 10 years later she made a guitarist she just met rock out! 👍🏼

I thought China was her only daughter.
No she isn't. Try doing the maths for that comment. White Rabbit was released in 1967 and Grace Slick is now 80 years old. Graces only child China was born in 1971.
She was born in Monterrey to craft fair parents, moved to Ensenada MX at age 4, was discovered by Linda Rondstadt at age 11
