Hey! Could you make a quick video tutorial for how to set up Nicky Romero's kickstart plugin via the IAC driver on Logic Pro, triggering the plugin using midi for non 4 on the floor beats? Thank You! Been trying to do it but haven't been successful
In fl studio we have a plugin called midi out that does that but if you dont find anything else you can automate the turn on/off knob of kickstart so the plugin will restart every time you automate it. That way it will start sidechaining at the moment you turn it back on.

I sent private SoundCloud links to some people, but the problem is when they get the link, it says the track is not found. What should I do?
Make sure you're using the 'private share link'. Click 'share' on the track and then copy the link that pops up. If you just send the direct url in the search bar, it will not work. Hope this helps you 🎶❤

Hi Lukas! Thanks to you, I'm all prepped to start e-mailing record labels, I only have one doubt: I have 4 songs that are in some way my best song, should I really choose just one, or is it a good idea to send a Soundcloud link that leads to all of them?
(One of them is the most commercial, hit-material, one of them is a regular favourite of my friends, the other one is the most inventive, and the other one tends to hype up my audiences the most.)
That’s awesome! You could switch it up depending on which label you’re sending it to. If it’s a commercial label, lead with the commercial one for example. You can def send all 4, but it’s easier for the label if you send 1, and then if they like the music, you can always send the rest 😌👍

Well, labels take care of the distribution. So if you want to use distribution websites, you can't use a label. Maybe it would be a better idea "Do you need a label?".

what does being supported mean? and what if I get signed to a label and then I reach out for another label which is bigger and get signed by that label, do I get unsigned from the first label or what happends?
Zycon Depends on the kind of contract you have. Some labels just hire you for a track. Others could trust you more and offer you longer contracts (example: for a year). These kinds of contracts might not let you release on another label until the contract has actually expired.

Zycon Being supported means getting your track noticed and played by bigger DJs and labels
Zycon or maybe email your tracks to DJs
Supported basically means getting featured on one of their radio mixes (eg. Heldeep) or added to Spotify playlists by that artist or even better played live. Basically any form of recognition from that artist counts as “supported”

You can but it could be risky. When two labels accept the same track start problems..

Wink don't send ur first ever track . It depends how long it has been since ur first ever produced track. Tell ur friends to hear ur track without revealing dat u r d producer n den ull get an honest feedback
Send your tracks to producers. For example R3SPAWN gives amazing feedback and the more producers you send it to, the bigger your network becomes. Just be open for feedback and you'll learn alot
The first 3 years, you shouldnt send your music to a label. Send it to producers that will give you VALUABLE feedback and not feedback like " The mixdown could be better".

ME Sub mostly send unreleased tracks but d tracks should b unique, perfectly mixed n mastered
If you send a track to a lable it has to be unreleased or else there is now way for them to release it.. Released track however can be send to promotion channels like edm city, house nation, sanpaokey music or even to me

Hey crzy! You cannot because the label will want to put it on Spotify themselves and Spotify does not take down tracks once they're already up. Hope that helps 😄
