I have a recommendation now that Rage of the Abyss is out to anyone reading this. When you Link 5 into Borrelend Dragon and get that final search with Black Metal Dragon, go for Red-Eyes Black Fullmetal Dragon. Activate it's effect to set Max Metalmorph, summon a level 5 or higher dragon (if you can), then get an omni-negate onto the field on your opponent's draw phase. Red-Eyes just got a whole lot better!
@@DarkArmedDuelist gotcha I had an argument earlier because I was able to get all three out and my opponent stated it was once per turn. I can see where the confusion set in, the card states once per turn. Stupid yugioh arbitrary rules. Sorry I didn’t word it differently in my initial comment. I meant it more as a question.
This is great combo but more of dragon link than Red-Eyes. This is a shame that the Red-Eyes archetype is not really a relevant deck but more of just support for other archetypes. There needs to be some sorta Red-Eyes field or continuous spell to help intiate more pure red eye's combos. Maybe even a contact fusion Red-Eyes monster can help this case to avoid adding a brick with Dark Magician.
So basically just dragon link. I wish someone would come up with something other then dragon link and or branded to put in a red eyes deck thats viable in comp.

You can only detach red eyes flare metal dragon once per turn
