Hey Kate! The technical term for the ‘towers’ is “Obelisk” … they made them in ancient Egypt and the George Washington monument is also an Obelisk!
They're very cool, right?! I think the vendors refer to them as "towers," at least in my experience. But "obelisk" is WAY cooler!
Omgosh I would’ve bought as many of those bowls that could for myself and my mom. Haha I talk about the prices. But those bowls were amazingly beautiful. Oh gosh the dyeing rocks is deceptive. But the bowls. Wow.

There are some rock slabs I call " barf stones" because that's what they look like to me... the ones with lots of little bits of color all mixed up. Not my favorites...😂

Haya, thank you for all the great videos! Just to clear up for ya. "Grape Agate" is the accepted industry name for botryoidal amethyst. It's far far from being a Jasper, it would have to be opaque for that :). I hope this was helpful

Agate dad had bought some the ammonites and they were fake. Not sure from where though. I really wish I could’ve went. Even though I think a lot of the prices are to high, it would’ve been great to run into some of my favorite rockhounds. And you’re one of my favorites.
