i hate it because it's entirely due to SM's mismanagement and lack of promotion of wayv overall :( the triplets & kun deserve way more recognition
WayV is a dark horse. They got everything that it takes - talent, visuals, charm and wits. And their songs are the most balanced and seem to prioritize strong melodies first before accenting them with fancy arrangements and production.
Whether or not they'll be big or not is actually up to the circumstances. But still, they'll be fine as long as WayZenNis stop having this thing of asking other NCTzens to validate WayV. Although WayV could do with more love and support, they are already amazing as they are and WayZenNis must not forget and stay proud cuz this confidence is actually better for the fandom and will actually attract new fans and more good stuff for WayV rather than almost begging for other NCTzens to support WayV which actually seems desperate which in turn doesn't benefit WayV's image.
It's true WayV members' careers are indeed "wavy" but we'll never know maybe a gigantic wave is on the way. But we have to be relaxed yet prepared so we'll be able to to catch and ride it. Let's just cheerfully support WayV and stop comparing them to the other units.😊

It's kinda sad seeing Ten go from being one of the most popular members to just hanging around in the middle due to a series of unfortunate circumstances.🥺 Definitely one of the best artists out there!
Don't take this too seriously cuz metrics for measuring fame is very tricky. Even hard science experiments/studies are so hard to conduct, how much more soft science stuff where a lot of the factors that ought to be considered aren't concrete things that are easily measured.
And take note this is just generic fame and not a particular kind. I mean you could be the most famous person but for the wrong reasons or maybe you could also be really popular but people somehow don't have enough love and respect for you to buy into the things you say and do. On the other hand your fame could just be "mid" but you are well-known and well-respected among more intelligent crowd/audience.
Consider SVT's Jeonghan vs Ten as YSL brand ambassador for example. Indeed SVT in many surveys is more popular than NCT and Jeonghan is one of their most popular members so by logic Jeonghan should have been picked as brand ambassador. But how come they picked Ten? One reason is TEN has the "right kind of fame" or he is known for the things that matters most to YSL like artistry, elegance, luxurious vibe and captivating performances.

This is why Ten, who is from the least popular and promoted subunit, was the 2nd one to have a mini and the first one to have a concert. Furthermore, he wouldn't shine less when he's with the most popular members, aka T7S. In fact he even owned baggy jeans in views and in online comments. Although more people know the other members' names cuz of factors beyond control, Ten's fame is like a vial of strong potion - not big in volume (numbers) but very potent in effect. These are fans that have strong conviction of his artistry and therefore will be more engaged than others.
Like people who don't know him usually will be puzzled and think what's the big deal with this guy who is barely known by the masses. But once they pay attention they will understand right away. It's not just a matter of taste, he really has potent artistry and star quality that's why toxic fans (only the toxic ones of course) of other more popular artists hate him a lot.. He's the kind of guy who could actually eclipse the shine of other more popular idols if they are put next to him.
SM treated TEN very badly. If SM had made The 7th Sense a permanent unit from the beginning, it would have been better. This group debuted together from the beginning and they're all gods.

It's actually so crazy how Jaemin was so popular even during his 2 years hiatus. Even during smrookies he was never a member that SM put any attention towards, but despite having zero solo stuff and having almost nothing when it came to dream's music, he somehow managed to steadily build a very solid and huge fanbase. He didn'r debut as a center, he worked his way up to being one. SM probably never expected much from him

Nct have so many great visuals but there is something about Jaemin that is so attractive and charming. He do attract lot of fans with his good looks, great performer, his dance moves are very attractive and his expressions are just eye catching (having the most viewed fancams in NCT - youtube and top most viewed sm artist on tiktok). I don't know why SM is sleeping on him 🫠
Any idol that has a low likelihood for solo success is entirely the fault of the company. If companies in other industries have people who's job it is to help employees grow and improve their talent and skills, then an entertainment company should at the very least have talent managers doing so for their artists.

I’m happy for jungwoo too, but jungwoo had much more activities than haechan jaemin. He was a music host before and a BA. I dont know why sm not giving solo activities to hc jm especially hc. As a Johnny/Kun/Taeil/Haechan bias I legitimately was so shocked when I came into the fandom and realized they weren’t more popular. They are so freaking talented. Not just the 4 I bias but all of them. They look pretty but they all do. They all are great dancers, can sing amazingly and are so freaking funny it’s unreal. Everyone is talking about Ten being under-appreciated but I think Jisung is a hidden gem as well as Yuta. After all, Jisung's a little baby (not anymore but you know what i mean). His weirdness and how young he is makes him special. As for Yuta, he's LITERALLY the Japanese member in the group (and his smile can cure cancer, just sayin'). When he happens to say something, It's comedy gold. 🥺
