Valyn is alright. Bind was definitely his map, but Lotus felt like the RNG blessed him a bit more than his actual skill. The pistol round on PRX's attack was literally a turning point and put the team on the back foot just because something's bullets weren't hitting where his crosshair was aiming. Valyn dies there and it's a completely different story, but he survives and gets a 4k for the team to start some momentum for a comeback on the series. His plays are fundamental and it was more PRX playing themselves with not clearing corners properly, comboing util to sustain pressure as well as not considering a lot of the finer details about their opponents such as Leaf's Outlaw which put PRX on a 4v5. G2 as a team are decent and icy has prevailed with his own style of Raze. Seriously, watching him satchel opponents to disrupt their aim was infuriating, but it worked very well and was smart of him instead of trying to take head on mechanical aim battles. Trent and JonahP are a rock solid duo for clutching and providing immediate impact. Leaf is, in my opinion, the best player on the team. Sure today was not his most outstanding day, but he has been arguably the most impactful since Stage 1. Valyn is a great IGL to have the mental fortitude to play against PRX and not crumble under the aggression of their playstyle. It's difficult to say if this team is already reaching its peak. What I can say is that this G2's path from Stage 1 to now is eerily similar to EG from last year where they just about scraped into contention for LAN events and are seizing their moment. Overall, I hope PRX learn a lot from this game since they were truly off colour with today's performance - especially F0rsaken - and can adapt their calling to counter ult economy like 100T did against FUT or look deeper into the gun plays such as countering Outlaw with full armour. Pure aggression will not be sustainable. GG to G2. They got a rematch against TH and what looks to be a full-power Wo0t.
G2 are indeed the kings of adaptibility. Not being heavy on their fire power but instead a high intelligence controlling the map's pace and players movements, second half of split showed they are starting to adapt to them already and in the end, they just go on to win. PRX however are not throwing rounds despite people's many criticisms that they always have players disadvantages, but that is just how they have to play appropriate to their comps. their comps rely heavily on trade success and map pressence, many teams crumble as they think they have to challenge them but G2 read them perfectly and adapted to them fast. Mad props to G2.

What a rollercoaster, this match up was such a turn of events. PRX's form on split was incredible, but G2 manages to bounce back on lotus and completely obliterate PRX on bind. Both teams are incredible, but this time the problem with PRX is once they get destroyed, their mental drops significantly making them rushing mindlessly and over-relying on aim, which usually works well in Ranked.
