Regardless of the level of play, this has to be one of the most entertaining game of Valorant ever. The constant throwing and hero plays kept the game insanely entertaining. My heart felt like it would shoot through the roof. Bang's' clutch during overtime brought cheers to some and tears to others. Truly one of my favorite games

GENG has actually overcome more adversity than DRX and PRX and outperformed them, and they are in fact the team closest to bringing the first trophy to the Pacific right now.

Good thing i watched GenG matches out of boredom, i eventually considered myself as a fan at this point by how i stick to their matches until the end despite some part of the match are brutal for GenG.

As a PRX fan, I was very disappointed with today's performance. PRX is always known for throwing but this time it really came to bite them. There's just WAYYY too many winnable situations, too many free rounds that they could've won EASILY and you can't be doing that in an elimination game. I hope they learn from this lost but if this keeps going, I don't see them winning an international trophy anytime soon. Still it was a close and intense game, congrats to 100T and nt PRX.

These team’s mechanics are next level. But without discipline it’s almost impossible to win an event. They tossed 6 rounds. It’s an insane handicap to overcome. Well done to 100T. They played well. Looks like Boostio is PRX’s kryptonite

When watching PRX, it is always sure to be both entertaining and suffocating, the amount of throws and player advantages that PRX loses pains me but when they do win a player disadvantages, it hypes the game, i think this is probably the game of the tournament so far. Thrown rounds in the third map alone: 24:16, 25:05, 27:35, 29:46(ulting for no reason), 32:56. There were many more in the two prior maps as well.

32:56 this is what had me pissed, they did this multiple times throughout the maps and its insane, the amount of collats that they've given to 100t
25:05 wasn't threw eeiu landed a headshot on d4v4i which recoiled his aim. 24:16 would have been perfectly fine if Asuna wasn't that cracked tbh, if they peek so far of each other he could have isolated the fight. 27:35 was a threw no denial I have no idea why he chosen to wide swing so soon other that play time or reposition, anything would have been a valid move. 29:46 was a bad ult not ulting for no reason. I don't know but shouldn't you give credit to 100T too? Not like Asuna 4k clutch was that easy, when Loud threw against Prx in master marid they call it ice cold clutch or whatever

Without those throws PRX would’ve won easily with the advantages they had developed before the throws. But there is no would’ve could’ve should’ve in this world. Is that sound far fetched? Also jump peek and jiggle isn't a thing you would normally do in that kind of situation, it's for holding the spike in a far enough angle to prevent defusing, not where they can just sneak up and you lost info. All in all I agree with most of your moment other than 24:16. And like OP peeking a classic aint a bad idea, they just got unlucky or bad or whatever

I was rooting for 100t cuz Boostio but man PRX has such weak mentality whenever fingers pointed at them for being the "best" team or the 1 winning the tournament they would just choked
The special thing abt PRX is their team comps and aggressive plays but once they lack any of those 2 their W's aren't gaming hope they bounce back in champ but i hardly doubt they can make a deep run like last year since their play style have been learned by so many teams
They either get an IGL (i doubt they would) or bring up a brand new team comp that serve their play style like last year Ascent and Pearl or else they can never get close to any trophies
Man people expected that PRX will win shanghai since the team that stopped them in madrid is not there anymore and had recently won pacific league but the thing is, a new king rises to rule the region if the former falls and 100t, the new kings showed it to their faces once again even in a close match. Another #1 NA seed stopped PRX from getting their trophy.
As for Pacific's hopes and dreams, we'll be leaving it to GenG then.
I mean Chinese fans are against Geng which is advantage for them and they play the same amount games along side with g2

Felt like a pretty dismal performance from both teams to be honest.
A lot of questionable plays from prx and in the third map they threw at least 3 rounds that they had in the bag. Wide peaking instead of playing time on multiple occasions.
And then on the other side 100t get pushed to overtime despite having multiple rounds handed to them.
Looking at the way teams have been playing geng deserve the win.... by far the most consistent!
Either way this doesnt change that fact that I am stuck in Diamond 1.

Honestly that has to be the most entertaining match in VCT history no? I mean yes some rounds were thrown but the aim in this matchup was insane. Like if someone is new to the game and they are like hardstuck bronze and they are the ones writing “cheater“ in the chat when they have a Smurf in their lobby. If they saw this game as an example of what proplay looks like it’s the best example. And as someone who slept in and missed the match watching this was even more insane. The vid ends in like thirty seconds and bang is in a 1v2 clutch to win the round. It’s 12:12 and you know whoever wins this round wins the game cause the vid is almost over. It's the PRX paradox as I call it.
When this team gets hyped to win an event, they crash out and burn, because they believe they can just aim diff everyone and go aggressive with everything. Then they push and peek everything and troll rounds, maps, and even series that way.
Ironically, this team is at its best when the stakes are low (they had a better finish this year with Monyet during Madrid).
Someone on this team has to step up to be the guy that tells everyone "just stop trolling". They'll need that for Stage 2 and Champs, if they want to get there.
I think that that someone who would tell them to stop trolling was Benkai as he was the only controlled guy of PRX during 2022 but honestly, Monyet could have been that guy as well but he's now in RRQ

2. The number of mistakes this year has increased. While they were always known for throwing advantages, they were more coordinated in Champs
3. Davai is arguably the guy who saves them from braindead plays. Mindfreak makes more sense, hes been inconsistent too
