YES! I love the part where she's applying that thick stuff with the spatula. There's this one little short segment where she's speaking gently and applying the "spackle." Tingles galore! Then she gets frustrated and smacks the spatula on his forehead and says "Darn this stuff!" Cracks me up every time!
There is a scene (I forgot all of the characters names) but the woman who really wants Edward. She is trying to hit up the plumber and Dianne Wiest interrupts her and she taps her nails on the door frame. I loved that tiny part when I was a kid haha.
It's tough to split up, all the changes that come with it, even if it's for the best. Thank you for spending so much of your time with us through your videos! I love all the places you take us and the stuff you talk about. I often have to watch your videos through once before I watch them for sleep, because I'm too interested to fall asleep the first time!
Oona Alda Asta I agree! Sometimes I have a hard time falling asleep to her videos because I'm too interested in what she says! Lol She's a very interesting person! :)
I had no idea that you had split up with your husband. I really hope you're doing better and you're taking care of yourself, you're looking extra beautiful in this video with that colour oh my goodness
I remember her saying years ago that she was alone with her boys, had already assumed she was separated. I think it might have been a long-time coming, but that's none of my business. I hope she's happy!
My dad grew up on almost all British tv shows and because he loved them so much he showed them all to me. When he passed away I got his huge collection of BBC shows on dvd and they always make me think of him when I watch them :) there’s something so hilarious and beautiful about British tv shows!
Hanna Tihonov I enjoy some of Maria’s content, but I’m not a huge fan of roleplays. I’m a huge fan of Mary’s walk- throughs and show-and-tells. Simple always seems to do it for me!
This was just what I needed today! If you have a lot of books or even just a few favorites I'd LOVE to see a video on those! Stay safe during these storms!
A.I. makes me cry like a baby too, mostly because the mom is horrifying. When I watched it all I could say over and over to the screen was, "I'll be your mommy! I'll be your mommy!," because she didn't want him, and she bonded with him only to reject him. It was child abuse! Yes, he's a robot, but still...
Ohhhhh myyyy goshhh ffinnallllyyy..you my dear are what i have been searching for. I have been losing my ability to get ASMR because i listen to the same asmrtist all the time. But as soon as i heard your beautiful southern voice..my asmr was instant. Ty so much
Idiocracy was and is one of my favorites because it’s becoming a self-fulfilling prophecy! Glad you like it too. Thank you for all your whispered videos!
As someone who grew up in South Carolina and who now lives in NC I find this channel a lot more entertaining, relaxing and easy to watch because you remind me of all the people around me when I was growing up and I love it thank you
I love the nightmare before christmas that is my favorite movie. I am so addicted to the whole selection of nightmare before christmas things i wish i could buy all the nightmare before christmas stuff.
At the risk of sounding like a totally stalkerish nutjob, I just have to point out that we have a lot in common! I am a paralegal, I have misophonia (and ASMR, obviously), I have two sons, and I literally love the movie Friday and have the entire thing memorized. There are more, but my mind has gone blank temporarily. One difference we have is that I haven't always been the best money manager - but I'm working on that at the moment and your money-related videos have been really helpful. Thanks for being my sister-from-another-mister! :)
MULTIPASS! I hear so many people bash Fifth Element! They have no souls. Also, Nightmare Before Christmas is one of my absolute favorites, too. I need to go watch that now.
Hahaha! Every time I make chicken for dinner, as I'm taking it out of the oven, I say "Nyaaahhhh, chick-KAN!" the way Leeloo says it in this movie! There are so many hilarious little bits!
Would you do a whispered show and tell video of crinkly items? A few videos back when you did the trial/travel size items I loved the combination of whispers with the crinkly candy wrappers. Love your videos!
I love all your videos they are so calming and relaxing after a long day i watch your videos everyday. They help me relax and they are so calming and they help me fall asleep sometimes The Nightmare Before Christmas is one of my favorite movies to watch.
You gave me some great recommendations of movies to see and reminded me of some I had forgotten about! I agree with what you said about Southern portrayals in film. I hate those hillbilly bumpkin stereotypes. Greetings from Tn! Thank you for another relaxing video.

I quote Fifth Element almost daily 😂 "Aziz Light" and "Ectogammit" are a couple of my faves. I also always say "CHEEK-AN! GOOT CHEEK-AN" like Leelo does lol.
"A Face In the Crowd"!!! I love it when I run into someone who knows & loves that movie. It is a masterpiece, and one of my favorite films of any genre/era. ...and yes, it was ahead of its time and very prescient.
I LOVE "A Face in the Crowd"! It is written by Budd Schulberg and directed by Elia Kazan, and they had just worked together on "On the Waterfront" with Marlon Brando, a couple of years before "A Face in the Crowd". Kazan gave Andy Griffith his big break on this film. Andy was a truly great actor. One of the ones, like James Garner, who made it look so easy. Anyway, aside from all that, LOL, I LOVE your ASMR videos. You have such a calming presence. :)
Thank you so much for this wonderful video, Mary!! So sorry to hear about your separation, I had no idea! Your cheery outfit caught my eye, I knew I recognized it from your most recent video :-) this video is pure GOLD. I adore your voice. Your input on things is so great too, I actually am Going to check out some of your movies because you've made me so intrigued!! Thanks again, Mary, best wishes to you and your boys 💕
Please do another of these! I prefer soft spoken to whispering because of hearing issues but either way you introduced me to a couple of the best movies!! Loved Face in the crowd, fastest Indian and somehow I missed the whole butterfly effect series! Thank you!! More please!!
We have the same taste in movies! It was great hearing about some of these movies that I have not seen in a while, but which I immediately added to my list of movies to buy. :)
THANK YOU SO MUCH DEAR MARY FOR HAVING THE COURAGE TO SHARE YOUR LOVE OF THE MOVIE "THE COLOR PURPLE". I THINK IT WAS ONE OF THE MOST UNDERRATED AND MISSED MOVIES EVER. SO NICE TO SEE YOU DEAR HEART...!!!
Nice list of movies you have! I was surprised how varied it is. Especially that A.I. is your favorite, I also like that movie alot and was surprised how badly received it was

Drowning Mona was one of 2 movies I walked out of the theater, lol The other one was the 1997 Batman & Robin movie. Bet if I gave them a chance today I would like them both.
Back in the days when I was studying I didn‘t have the money to pay for tv. What I did have was a vhs from the „5th Element“. I saw that and „King Pin“ in an endless loop.
The Butterfly Effect blows my mind to this day. The first time I saw it I didn't sleep for a couple nights.
Such a superbly underrated movie.. its a masterpiece
Edward Scissorhands was the first movie to give me tingles while viewing. Dianne Wiest voice 🤗😍 xx
YES! I love the part where she's applying that thick stuff with the spatula. There's this one little short segment where she's speaking gently and applying the "spackle." Tingles galore! Then she gets frustrated and smacks the spatula on his forehead and says "Darn this stuff!" Cracks me up every time!
Yes!!! I used to rewind the makeup scene all the time. I thought I was just weird. Lol
There is a scene (I forgot all of the characters names) but the woman who really wants Edward. She is trying to hit up the plumber and Dianne Wiest interrupts her and she taps her nails on the door frame. I loved that tiny part when I was a kid haha.
Asmr requests recreated that makeup scene. Was really really tingly. Watch if you haven’t!!!

Halcyon House ASMR I agree I hope she is ok and she is beautiful like a movie star!
What a nice thing to say. Prayers for everyone. 🙏

@@arianelevesque3899 I think she has three ex husbands but I totally agree that’s probably not our business

I used to watch Friday once a day for the entire summer of 1999.
My dad grew up on almost all British tv shows and because he loved them so much he showed them all to me. When he passed away I got his huge collection of BBC shows on dvd and they always make me think of him when I watch them :) there’s something so hilarious and beautiful about British tv shows!
Speaking as a cinephile and ASMR enthusiast, this perhaps is the single greatest video I've ever watched.
You have replaced gentle whispering as my most favourite ASMR channel. xx
susan richardson Me tooooooo!!!!!....
Though it hurts to say.... The same for me, but I was loyal to dear Maria for 4 years. I'm sure I'll be forgiven 🖤.
Facts
SAme for me!!! Maria posts the same videos for a years already - same movements, same videos, same equipment..nothing new - sorry to say.
Hanna Tihonov I enjoy some of Maria’s content, but I’m not a huge fan of roleplays. I’m a huge fan of Mary’s walk- throughs and show-and-tells. Simple always seems to do it for me!
A.I. is an underrated gem of a movie. Your movie picks were unexpected and refreshing. Thanks for sharing.
You remind me so much of Lisa Kudrow!!! I’m so happy I found your channel I love your videos! :)
I've never thought about that!
I thought that too
I also thought that Mary Looked Like Lisa Kudrow.

Great collection! I loved all the little explanations you gave for why you enjoy each one. Hope you are well.
I have misophonia too! It's great to hear that we're not alone. I haven't met anyone else with misophonia before now.
