Fishing Sand Hollow Reservoir, Utah; Catch, Clean, Cook Bluegill

The miserably hot days of mid July make for some fantastic slab Bluegill fishing at Sand Hollow Reservoir in southwestern Utah. Using simple rig of small hook and a couple of split shot with some live nightcrawlers, the action is non stop...even some Largemouth Bass show for some added sport. We find the larger fish in deeper water and eventually lightning from the growing monsoon drives us off the water.
