To be fair it is very hard to place people on a pedestal nowerdays, our society is so advanced/evolved to the point where everyone is incredible at what they do and so the best of the best never has a hierarchy so to speak. They generally have to be bunched together.
Honestly. Jinho and Hui are both incredible vocalists, I wish people would give them more credit :(

I like this guy the most out of all the "vocal coach react" creators. He knows what he's talking about and very rarely uses personal opinion. He uses his knowledge and actually DOES HIS JOB. the others *cough cough*, not naming names , fail to do so.
I watched one of those guys (not naming names either) that just kept kissing the group's ass and it just put me off all vocal coach reacts. I was thinking "I genuinely wanted to learn about their vocal technique, how are you any different from normal kpop reacts" I'm so thankful for this channel for saving the little hope I have left.

I've always wondered if Jin hits high notes right. It looks like he has trouble hitting the notes but he manages to sing them very beautifully
joon on the moon Well Jin didn’t even have any experience at all with singing when he first began. So I understand why it would look challenging. He also didn’t have any experiencing with dancing. But he definitely does sing the high notes wonderfully.

His face and initial reactions definitely do not lie lol. But...he is very diplomatic and gracious in his explanations in trying to explain what's happening and speaking from a place of authority (in subject matter) and yet remaining factual. I was classically trained in college and I completely understand his lingo and I love it. I might be developing a crush but I'm not sure yet lol. Omg.

I'm actually kinda proud that he reacted so well to that clip. Back then he had far less vocal training than he has now and was still mainly a rapper in the group. Now, after the Rise Up CB, he's been given a bit more recognition as a vocalist in the group, which BTW STAN TALENT he can rap AND sing, this boy can do anYthIng. There's this Vlive where Rocky showcases bits from several covers he has done and I was just blown away.

I hinestly think “high” notes are overrated and overused. Every song doesn’t need it....but it is the “firmula” for the typical k-pop song.

When done right and placed well they sound AMAZING ♥
Mika Loves You: sure, when done right......but when every group puts one in every song and the one person stops and does the iconic move that indicates that they’re singing the high note, it gets old really quickly. It like Mariah Carey’s whistle note. Hearing it in every song was overkill.

BTOB has some CRAZY vocals. I love them so much. Yuju has a beautiful voice. You should look into GFRIEND. They are so so so good. Yuju nails those high notes amazingly. Hyorin has beautiful voice. Ah I love it so much! Seventeen has beautiful vocals on top of some insane dancing (but we're here for vocals but we have to appreciate their dancing for those of us who know it). Astro is just crazy good. Just... stop Astro. Calm down. Infinite is just crazy. We won't go there. Rose's voice is beautiful. I can't comment on every artist since I'm not familiar with all of them but they're all so talented, obviously.

I think that is mostly because the original maker of the compilation didn't choose the best clips.... I mean he can't really react to anything more than what he's seeing/hearing and he probably don't know much about Vixx & Leo ^^

It’d be awesome if you did a video on vocal nodules and how they affect how you sing. A lot of idols have talked about having them and some have talked about having to change the way they were singing because they didn’t have time to recover or have surgery.

Don't know if this is "too late" but the reason their vowels are more uh instead of "oh" is that the vowel o (ㅗ) is VERY much more rounded than ours is. like complete tiny puckered lips o. I can't even think of an english word with the exact o. To sing this vowel entirely that way would sound....very interesting, so they will sort of hop back into a more neutral sound turning ㅗ sometimes into ㅓ which is like the aw in caught KIND OF without having a twang. We also don't use this vowel so.. yeah it's not what they're being taught, they have technically technicalllyyyy 21 vowels, or what they consider to be vowels, and there are sounds that english doesn't have, so it will surely come across. we also have sounds they DON'T, and that kind of "oh" with much wider circumferenced lips isn't natural for them.

It's interesting that ㅓ (eo) is pronounced like "aw." I will keep that in mind since the Korean language is really interesting to learn
