Yeah Woozi does look like a guy who’s just finished work in the office and was suddenly dragged into singing with a band on the way home 😂 Funny thing is, despite looking unrelated to the songs, he’s actually the one that’s most familiar with it since he composed more than 90% of all of Seventeen’s songs
Killing Voice is like a highlight medley where artists sing parts of songs from their discography throughout the years. So SEVENTEEN sang songs all the way from 2015 to their latest song (at that time) in 2022. Not sure if you’ve watched kpop before but SEVENTEEN is a really talented group! They make their own music and they have amazing voices, highly recommend to check them out again!
Carats are the fans, carats as in weight of a diamond, not as a vegetable lmao. Anyway, the guy with blonde hair belting is Seungkwan, and the one with the strong voice is DK, both are main vocalists. One guy that didn't participate much was Wonwoo, with glasses and low voice. It's because his mother had passed away around that time, and they halted his participation in videos, without removing him from Seventeen's content completely. Also, kpop groups are really touchy, guy and girl groups respectfully. If you have time, I'd recommend watching their mvs or dance practices as they're amazing dancers as well. Much love.
‘Don’t tell me he is a dancer” erm… they are all dancers, like the best. There is choreo for most of the songs they showcased here. Yes they sing and dance at the same time… I know… it’s ridiculous. Oh, 13 members not 17 [I don’t know why]. You should check out some of Seungkwan’s covers [blonde singer in the grey suit jacket here]. You correctly identified the two lead vocals btw [Seungkwan and DK, DK, spreads his legs to reach the low mic]. The little blonde guy is Woozi, he writes [and produces]most of Seventeens songs . Oh, yes Korean lads are very touchy-feely [though mr Red hair, The8/Minghao, is actually Chinese], it can take a little getting used to.
There should be 17 members, but a lot of them left before the debut so they did 3 units 1 performance team,1 hip-hop team, and a vocal team so 13+3+1=17 so 13 members, 3 teams and everything together is one team, so yeah 17
Supposed to be 17 members but after some backed off- they stayed 13. So they make the meaning is 13 members + 3 units (vocal, performance, hiphop) + 1 team = 17
it never gets old like its always funny for me when people heard them saying "Carrots" instead of "Carats" (the fandom name) lol 😂 thanks for the reaction, i enjoyed it.
I'm really glad Joshua & Dino also on the list of best singers in the group in terms of technical ability along with Woozi, DK, & Seungkwan. Them getting recognition!! 🥰
It actually reminded me of when that korean vocal coach said that Dino is the one that improved the most from debut til now🥲our diamond maknae n future of kpop🥰
@@minjakeu tbh seventeen songs don't do his (Jeonghan's) voice justice... for their latest comeback (2023) they made a trot version for God of Music and SO many people praised his voice because he's singing in a way we never heard him sing before. Plus for this Killing Voice Joshua, Dino, SK, and DK had more lines than him. People like Wonwoo, Scoups, and Jun barely sang hahah. It's not intentional, ofc. It's the way the songs were cut, but still. That's not to mean I don't think Dino and Shua aren't great singers! In fact, by now I think Jeonghan is really in the middle of the list when it comes to singing, but it's just... I still don't think he has showed his full potential yet hahah
you are so funny😭😭The disney prince and shoulder touching got me💀plus trust me this is seventeen with a bit of control, THEY ARE ALL INSANE!! Variety show kings🤣
killing voice is actually a medley of many seventeen songs from their discography (ranging from 2015 to present)! the text on the screen was showing the song title and what album it was from, so "mini album" was referring to an album that specific song was from mini albums in kpop tend to be 4-7 songs long and they're very common. likely bc it's standard procedure for kpop acts to have at least 2 releases a year, whether it's a single, mini album, or full studio album. and singles and mini albums are obviously much easier to release on a frequent basis than full albums. for seventeen specifically, they tend to release a full album about every 2-3 years and release mini albums in between, they're very busy year round lol! also fun fact, seventeen are self-produced and write their own music, which isn't super common in kpop. member woozi, who was the shorter guy with bleached hair and eyebrows, is their main producer and songwriter, though all of the members have contributed to writing lyrics or production at some point or another :3 i really enjoyed your reaction and commentary though, I'd love to see you react to more seventeen! i recommend the band live versions of "all my love" and "world"!
I'm so glad somebody acknowledged Dino's vocal abilities! I've noticed how fast he's improved vocally and how quickly he climbed up my favorite voices in the group. He really shined during this dingo medley 🥺. He always had an underrated voice but he really can hold his own even when hes in the performance line! Also i would like to add, I think Hoshi's parts in the medley weren't able to showcase his vocal ability to its full extent (he also personally has one of my favorite voices)... to other tracks and parts of the. He sings with chord closure and his voice just sounds so full. I hope you get listen to more Seventeen songs. 😁 As for Hoshi! I hope you get to listen to (Highlight, Spider, Bad Guy (masked cover), Campfire (group song but hoshi really shined 🥺))
The premise of killing voice is that different artists are able to showcase a bunch of their music. So these were all just little snippets of a few of their songs, meaning they're actually way longer than that of course
hey! thank you for reacting to svt :) this was a "highly medley" of their discography. under every song i think there was written the year it came out. ( they debuted in 2015) actually there are only 13 members, that is because they have 3 units: the hiphop, performance and vocal team. in the vocal team there are four of the members you pointed out at the end (also thanks for apreciating chans vocals!). as much as i know they all had bumzu as their vocal trainer in their trainee days who also is their producer (but i dont know enough about their vocal training). i just want to point out at this point that i personally think every member has a really different voice and their own color and together it creats a beautiful picture! also, when joshua said "carrot" he ment carat wich is our fandom name 💎! if you decide to slip into the diamond life i wish you a happy journay! ps: english is not my first language so i appologize for all my mistakes, hope yall still get what i'm trying to say:) have a great day :))
Just the start and am loving your reaction alrdy!! Also ahaha i just wanna point out during Pretty U, (5:28) Vernon was holding Dino’s shirt up because the lyrics of what Dino was singing has the word “clothes” 😂 They’ve pretty much been training together since 2011 (one member started in 2010 but all of the members were alrdy training since 2013) so they’re all rlly comfortable with each other n as u said, touchy😂 I also suggest you watch svt perform live because they are always singing live and still maintain their synchronicity while dancing too! I promise you, it’ll blow ur mind!! And lol no, there’s not 17 members but there’s 13 of them ever since their debut (they’ve debuted in 2015 with the same members n they didnt add nor take away any members unlike other grps that started out with a lot of members in their grp) If u look at the bottom left of the screen, it has the names of the song they’re singing n the album it’s from n they yr that album was released. I know it’s hard to understand korean for the kr song titles but their album names are mostly in eng😅
Thank you for your reaction! Your reaction is so on point. This is your 1st kpop content reaction and the amount of "i like this song" in the video is sooooo 💯
i absolutely loved this! as a long-time fan of seventeen, i’m really happy to see pros like yourself recognise their vocal skill :DDD and all your little notes about how affectionate svt are made me laugh, but i learned a lot from your analyses, so thank you again for reacting!
I recommend "Seventeen - In My Room" because they divided into their sub-unit group and sang their owns sub-unit songs, you'll get to know them more. They're 13 of them and divided into 3 sub-unit: vocal, hip hop (rapper), and performance (dance), and ofc they can sings, dance, and they composed their own songs!
Thank you for reacting to Seventeen, they are all really talented singers, dancers, and most of them are also rappers. If you wanted to check out full songs maybe the world live band sessions or the rock with you live band session. In Korea, it's normal for boys and men to show affection through touch and it is not seen as weird. So the skinship (touching, hugging, etc.) is not rehearsed they are just used to that. Most Korean Idols begin their Training in a company very young and the member of a group spend a lot of time together so that they feel more like brothers and there is a genuine connection between them. The Seventeen members were mostly around the age of 12 to 16 when they first met each other and from then on they spent long hours, every day in a basement where they learned singing, dancing, rapping, variety skills, and more. From my perspective Seventeen is one of the Groups who love each other the most, there is even a saying in Korea that Seventeen beat their Fans in loving Seventeen the most. They are their own biggest supporters and always cheer for each other. When a Member has a solo project the others are promoting them and talk about that everywhere, it's really heartwarming to see.
It’s actually a medley of their songs since 2015 specifically made for this program… also most kpop groups tend to be touchy bc they basically grow up and live together so they’re always near each other like brothers
they actually didn't perform their whole album{the song from their latest album was 'hot' } .they just performed parts of their songs which they are releasing since 2015.
So glad that you are starting with Seventeen as your first Kpop reaction! Known as self producing idols, they have so much under their belt alongside their vocals!
i loved your reaction!!! i also loved hearing you sing, your voice is beautiful! i’m sure you’d love seventeen if you end up diving more into their stuff! they have some great music and they’re some of the funniest guys!
Thank you for this~ I also recommend their Dingo Killing Voice, All My Love acoustic version, To You comeback stage, and Rock With You live band version
Ahahaha just got to the aerate your friends shoulder part, most of the time they’re just acting out the lyrics that they’re singing! Seventeen all have so much energy they just can’t stand still and not entertain, they’re very engaging performers and I think part of it is because they’re all dancers too.
I'm a big fan of K-dramas and the soundtracks for these series are often amazing. Apple music has a whole channel just for K-Drama music. Never thought an old man like me would like it so much, but here we are.
Did she actually said about a similarity between "beatles" and "Seventeen" or am i just hallucinating ! So proud of my sebongies getting such valuble praises from people who actually knows music!!
I actually definitely was sad when there was a recent Killing Voice from NCT and they used the pop filter and I couldn't see their beautiful faces and I was kinda mad hahaha :D So I appreciate you noticing this effort here. OK so you became a Carat right before my eyes! :D hahaha (fandom name for Seventeen). Also you biased my bias, Seungkwan the great mix with the blonde hair.
Twenty three minutes of pure joy! The little dance you did starting about 19:05 was priceless and had me chuckling in delight. And I think you're absolutely right about us humans. In the end we all just want to be happy. Thanks for another great video!
I love seventeen and this is the first time coming across your channel and omg I LITERALLY LOVE YOU?? Instantly subscribed. Like your vibes are amazing tysm for the reaction, learnt a lot and looking forward to MORE!!
You are already my favorite voice coach reacting youtuber, now PLEASE also be part of my favorite songs on Spotify playlist too and record an album there and give me the link, PLEASE!. Your voice is just too beautiful no not be on my playlist!
1:21 LEFT TO RIGHT: JEONGHAN, SCOUPS, JUN, HOSHI, D.K., WOOZI, WONWOO, SEUNGKWAN, THE8, MINGYU, JOSHUA, VERNON, AND DINO S.COUPS - Leader and Oldest, leader of Rapline HOSHI - Leader of SVT dance line WOOZI - Leader of vocal line DINO - Youngest
As usual, you make me appreciate songs I normally wouldn't listen to, simply by highlighting how good these singers are and spreading so much joy along the way. I wonder, would you ever consider reacting to Elsiane? Perhaps their performance of Paranoia live at Studios Noviembre. Her singing technique always seems so interesting to me and I'd love to hear your take on it to really understand how it works. Anyway, love all of your vids, please don't ever stop posting them. 🙂
Thanks for the vid. I love how you vibe into Seventeen music. You may check other SVT vids. They got very amazing vocals & hardest dance choreo. If you need recommendations, ring us carats.
loved this reaction and how you talked about each members. And yea they can be kind of touchy in terms of a western point of view but that's just a part of some Asian cultures. Physical affections aren't that big of a deal especially when they've been around their group of friends/family (13 of them) for more than 10 years. Hope you react to more seventeen! :)
I've enjoyed watching your reaction and I loved it that you had fun! I hope you can react to Home;Run also by Seventeen! It's such a theatrical, jazzy song it makes me moveee you will love it ❤
You always put a smile on my face. . . .today was no exception. . .bloody good fun. I also love being on the same page as you, musicality speaking. The same 3, and maybe the 4th talented singers were the same I spotted. . . Synchronicity at it's best. . . Keep up the great work, you're a special character/ talent. Love ❤ you mucho! . . . P.S. I want to hold your hand.... it's just a day in the life...It's something in the way you move me.. . All you need is love., so let it be. ✌👍🙏💓🇺🇸🇩🇰🏴☠️
Realmente ame está reacción, las comparativas y explicaciones están en un next level, me encantaría verte reaccionar a "seventeen Best vocals" o a su performance para los MAMA2020!
Helloo!! I always visit here to watch your commentary, its soo genuinee 😊😊 hoping for reacting for more seventeen!! I recommend kidult, its my favorite till now irs a masterpiece 😊❤
Not something i would normally listen to but this was fun. Like the concept of singing snippets of a whole album. Like you said, great pop voices. Listening to JP Cooper - In the Silence (mahogany session) pretty much on repeat at the min lol On a side note, redheads are known for being tactile 😋 ☮️💟
Most of the songs they sang are accompanied by choreography which they perform at award shows and concerts so the little bits of synchronised moves you see are most likely from the official choreography otherwise it’s just them all sharing the same brain cell and messing around lol
I love videos like this like I wanna tell u everything abt them bc if u enjoyed the videos now, its much more fun when ur a fan and u know the context abt everything
You should definitely check out more killing voice performances there are a lot of different artists that went on that channel. I would absolutely recommend big mama's killing voice performance it's incredible
4/5 of your best singers are from the vocal team! they have 3 units (vocal, performance (dance), hiphop (rappers)) where each member is assigned to. it's initially to signify the members' assignment in the team, but everyone of them practically do all three.
SEVENTEEN is a 13 member group consists if 3 units(Hiphop,Vocal,Performance) that man you said that got out of the office is WOOZI the Vocal unit leader and main producer and lyricist of the group. Killing voice is a highlight medley of their albums from 2015 to present although its just some of their songs, they have many songs in their discography and they won't record all of that in one video🤣 They're touchy🤣 they've all been together for 10 years already and they're fond of each other🤣 Kpop groups tend to be touchy.
This is your first reaction to KPop? Wow this is a good start. Thank you so much for the reaction to seventeen. I have a req to react to IKON killing verse, i want to see your oponion about them.
Thank you for your reaction, thank you for mentioning other member beside the main vocal (dk and seungkwan) like joshua and dino. Btw the carrot that you mention is actually "carat" that is the name of seventeen fan ❤
seeing you (who hasn't watched seventeen or kpop yet) watch this for the first time was very entertaining, i loved your funny side comments !! thank you for the great video
Loved your reaction! Have subbed to you. How about a girl group? This is what most people want "4th Impact" a Filipino girl Group that competed on the British reality TV 12 series The X Factor (which is their name is 4th Power at that time) Cover the song "Bang Bang" by Jessie J, Ariana G. & Nicki M. and it's the Number one most Viewed on X Factor History.
You’ve gotta react to the show Vocal Play as well! It’s an acapella contest in Korea where different artistes are thrown together to collaborate on acapella stages (notably the artistes have to do a blind stage first where depending on the audience vote, they may be allowed to proceed as part of one of 3 producer teams (iirc)
*HERE’S SEVENTEEN INFO AND GUIDE LINKS* SEVENTEEN a 13-member (ALL MALE) Kpop Group that debuted May 26, 2015 under Pledis Entertainment; a sub label under HYBE. I have been a Carat since 2017, It’s quite a long and interesting story how they got the name Seventeen since 13Members + 3Units + 1Team = 17. The group consists of three subunits: Hip Hop, Performance, and Vocal; which has different styles & concepts of music. They’re self-produce, compose & write, and makes their choreography. Each unit has their responsibilities - For example; Performing unit charge of choreography (Dancing Formations), Vocalists in charge of composing the songs and Hip Hop in charge of writing the lyrics but Woozi who’s the vocal leader and shortest member. I'd love to see you react to superfruit doing "defying gravity". I really think you'll love the humor...and the stunning talent. Pretty pretty please lol. Amazing reaction as always dear heart.
Let me just say that i love how you pay attention to everything not just the voices..that made it a million times more fun to watch. And no, There is no choreography here😂..but, they do have a coreography for most of these songs on stage and they used a few moves from it here like when they did "home". On stage they have Like, the HARDEST coreographies while siging.

When a Member has a solo project the others are promoting them and talk about that everywhere, it's really heartwarming to see.
lmao not the “I’ve never seen a Disney prince rap before” for Vernon 😭
It’s actually a medley of their songs since 2015 specifically made for this program… also most kpop groups tend to be touchy bc they basically grow up and live together so they’re always near each other like brothers
YESSS
they actually didn't perform their whole album{the song from their latest album was 'hot' } .they just performed parts of their songs which they are releasing since 2015.
me crying when Joshua get the praise yes babe get all the praise you deserve
i love your reactions and little side comments lol!! thanks for reacting to seventeen
I love how you’re fun but educating at the same time. Would love to see you react to more kpop content.
Ahahaha just got to the aerate your friends shoulder part, most of the time they’re just acting out the lyrics that they’re singing! Seventeen all have so much energy they just can’t stand still and not entertain, they’re very engaging performers and I think part of it is because they’re all dancers too.
They are basically singing the highlights of their songs throughout the years!! You should react to some songs individually because they’re so gooood
I've been watching so much Seventeen Killing Voice reaction videos (as a CARAT with so much time in her hands) and yours is deffo my favourite!
I'm a big fan of K-dramas and the soundtracks for these series are often amazing. Apple music has a whole channel just for K-Drama music. Never thought an old man like me would like it so much, but here we are.
Never let age stop you from enjoying good things!
Did she actually said about a similarity between "beatles" and "Seventeen" or am i just hallucinating !
So proud of my sebongies getting such valuble praises from people who actually knows music!!
Wow your reaction was so fun!!❤ I love your breakdowns
I actually definitely was sad when there was a recent Killing Voice from NCT and they used the pop filter and I couldn't see their beautiful faces and I was kinda mad hahaha :D So I appreciate you noticing this effort here.
OK so you became a Carat right before my eyes! :D hahaha (fandom name for Seventeen). Also you biased my bias, Seungkwan the great mix with the blonde hair.
Extended cigarette break lmaooo he (Woozi) is actually the producer of the group. He works 24/7
Yasss!!! It’s the “I never seen a Disney prince rap before.” Hollywood should really cast Vernon to play the prince for a Disney movie.
Please react to seventeen more! The group's range is so unique and strong especially coming from a 13 member group! They are also great dancers
1:21 LEFT TO RIGHT: JEONGHAN, SCOUPS, JUN, HOSHI, D.K., WOOZI, WONWOO, SEUNGKWAN, THE8, MINGYU, JOSHUA, VERNON, AND DINO
S.COUPS - Leader and Oldest, leader of Rapline
HOSHI - Leader of SVT dance line
WOOZI - Leader of vocal line
DINO - Youngest
As usual, you make me appreciate songs I normally wouldn't listen to, simply by highlighting how good these singers are and spreading so much joy along the way.
I wonder, would you ever consider reacting to Elsiane? Perhaps their performance of Paranoia live at Studios Noviembre. Her singing technique always seems so interesting to me and I'd love to hear your take on it to really understand how it works.
Anyway, love all of your vids, please don't ever stop posting them. 🙂
thank you for reacting to this talented group!
Thanks for the vid. I love how you vibe into Seventeen music.
You may check other SVT vids. They got very amazing vocals & hardest dance choreo. If you need recommendations, ring us carats.
Mamamoo's Killing Voice is also extremely fun to watch and they have amazing vocals! Highly recommend!
Totally agree!!!❤️❤️❤️
loved this reaction and how you talked about each members. And yea they can be kind of touchy in terms of a western point of view but that's just a part of some Asian cultures. Physical affections aren't that big of a deal especially when they've been around their group of friends/family (13 of them) for more than 10 years. Hope you react to more seventeen! :)
Thank you so much for your reaction to SEVENTEEN I quite enjoyed it! Can’t wait to see more of them in your channel!
You’re so fun and I love your energy 🤩 This is my favorite Killing Voice video!
Now everytime I'm gonna see Vernon, the term "disney prince who could rap" will definitely pop up in my head fron now on.
I loved that when Seungcheol said "baksu" she said "Brazil" because the first time I heard Clap I also thought he said "Brazil"
I've enjoyed watching your reaction and I loved it that you had fun! I hope you can react to Home;Run also by Seventeen! It's such a theatrical, jazzy song it makes me moveee you will love it ❤
They are also known as 'the theater kids of k-pop'. And while we are on the subject, DK was cast (twice) as Arthur in Korea's musical 'Excalibur'.
you are the cutest!! Also on point detailed reaction, super witty and funny! 🤍🤍
I quite enjoyed this! ❤ you are amazing!
You are a treasure, it is always wonderful to watch you.
Vernon and Jeonghan being called "Disney Prince" is so accurate 😂
Not something i would normally listen to but this was fun. Like the concept of singing snippets of a whole album. Like you said, great pop voices.
Listening to JP Cooper - In the Silence (mahogany session) pretty much on repeat at the min lol
On a side note, redheads are known for being tactile 😋
☮️💟
Most of the songs they sang are accompanied by choreography which they perform at award shows and concerts so the little bits of synchronised moves you see are most likely from the official choreography otherwise it’s just them all sharing the same brain cell and messing around lol
Another great reaction! Thank you for guiding me discovering so many interesting things about singing
This is the cutest and funniest reaction 😂❤ thankyouu for reacting to svt 😊
"Don't tell me he's a dancer" well, who's gonna tell her they're the best dancers in the whole kpop industry? 👀
I'm really enjoying your commentaries on this video. ^_^
Killing voice is a highlight medley of their albums from 2015 to present although its just some of their songs, they have many songs in their discography and they won't record all of that in one video🤣
They're touchy🤣 they've all been together for 10 years already and they're fond of each other🤣 Kpop groups tend to be touchy.
i came here for seventeen and stay for the free vocal lessons 😅
This is your first reaction to KPop? Wow this is a good start. Thank you so much for the reaction to seventeen.
I have a req to react to IKON killing verse, i want to see your oponion about them.
Thank you for your reaction, thank you for mentioning other member beside the main vocal (dk and seungkwan) like joshua and dino. Btw the carrot that you mention is actually "carat" that is the name of seventeen fan ❤
15:32 😂😂😂 Im dying of laughter, you thought actual CARROTS; no they were talking about their fandom CARATS as in 💎 DIAMONDS.
I love thiss Thank you for listening to them! I'm glad you enjoyed
Entertaining, funny and, in the process... learning! That’s the way! Thanks for your commitment to music
seeing you (who hasn't watched seventeen or kpop yet) watch this for the first time was very entertaining, i loved your funny side comments !! thank you for the great video

I love it when you sing!! ❤️
Thank you so much for reacting to Seventeen!!!
Love the recognition for Joshua’s voice 🥹 he deserves it soooo much
Me encantó mucho tu reacción! En parte fue muy divertido, gracias por reaccionar a svt
loved your reaction sm!
AAAAAAAAAAA that ending comment was great bc my 2 favourite bands are The Beatles and Seventeen :')
"aerate your friend's shoulder" 5:34 your humor lmao
even without knowing a lot of Killing Voice, the breakdowns you notice was really fun!
The "disney prince" is my favorite! His name is Vernon, he's korean-american! The one with a black/white jacket on the right
You’ve gotta react to the show Vocal Play as well! It’s an acapella contest in Korea where different artistes are thrown together to collaborate on acapella stages (notably the artistes have to do a blind stage first where depending on the audience vote, they may be allowed to proceed as part of one of 3 producer teams (iirc)
*HERE’S SEVENTEEN INFO AND GUIDE LINKS*
SEVENTEEN a 13-member (ALL MALE) Kpop Group that debuted May 26, 2015 under Pledis Entertainment; a sub label under HYBE. He’s actually the one who writes, produces and composes majority of their songs with the assists of other music producers & artists! *My biases are The8(Minghao), Hoshi, Woozi, Mingyu, Wonwoo, Junhui, D.K, Vernon and Dino but I am OT13 equally*

I'd love to see you react to superfruit doing "defying gravity". I really think you'll love the humor...and the stunning talent. Pretty pretty please lol.
Amazing reaction as always dear heart.
Seventeen members vocals are so amazing ❣️.
Do more react to seventeen they are amazing❤
Love your video!^^ Please consider reacting to Melomance Killing Voice as well!
DINO VOCAL IS AMAZING
Let me just say that i love how you pay attention to everything not just the voices..that made it a million times more fun to watch.
And no, There is no choreography here😂..but, they do have a coreography for most of these songs on stage and they used a few moves from it here like when they did "home".
On stage they have Like, the HARDEST coreographies while siging.
My Fairy Voice Mother - must "Stop, Drop and Roll" immediately! Must check this out - strapped in!
Hey, love your videos
Well now that you’ve been introduced to Killing Voice and Dingo Music, you need to do Big Mamma’s performance. You’ll enjoy it!
Big Mama yes!
I love you calling them Disney princes they sure do look like it😂
Yaaayyy seventeen 💜💜
Thanks for reacting to SEVENTEEN
