Saw my exact car I had in 1967 color and all..my 57 Chevy .. do I ever wish could have kept it... Missed out on a 57 Vette for 300 but got that Bel Air so I wasn't completely bummed.. really nice cars at this show !
What a great show! Holy cow these builds were brilliant! Great picks! Hard to pick I am sure, nearly ever car out there could have been shown! Thanks so much you all!
That green 27 ford rod was awesome. He talked about how rare those parts are and hard to find or buy. I have have a few on my cars and when asked about them I tell people they are made of unobtainium. Get a few laughs.
Great show Dennis, I loved each car you highlighted. My dad had a 66 wagon with a 352 4 barrel. I used it a few times to go get parts while working on my car. Yes that tailgate was really nice for loading stuff. New sub!!!
This is a very worthwhile event. This seems to have grown out of an older,, very distinguished 1950's weekend LEAD EAST which happens just down the road at Parsippany NJ at the Hilton. This is a straight car show. LE is a more wholistic experiance, (vintage dress, Doo Wop/rockabilly music a prom...) But getting back to this show, it has a lot of good cars.
Thanks Dennis for another great video hey did you hear ever hear of a 72 gremlin Randall Edition apparently a dealer called Randall put 401s in grandma's and 72540 horse at the real Wheels it's crazy I never heard of a Randall have a great day
The sixries caddy fins were mentioned in the pioneering book advocating safer car design, " Unsafe At Any Speed". It seems a paper boy was coming downhill on his bike while the caddy was pulling out of the driveway between some trash cans at the curb, and the kid got speared by a fin in the chest and was killed on the spot. I guess I should mention that I really enjoy this channel, and even when I don't have much to say, try to add a comment because the financial algorithms like it, and I like guys getting paid. Where would we all be without it.
I owned all those old cars and they weren't anything special beyond being a car. My 280ZX was my favorite car but I loved my V65 Magna the most. Owned '63 Chevy Nova II wagon, '69 Ford GT, '71 LeMans, '71 442, '71 Catania, '75 Monza V8, '76 914, '76 Gran Prix, etc., plus 10 bikes.
Most car shows I've been to a great don't matter how many cars I got a long as people are happy and having a great time and a good gathering this safe have a few beers and everybody has a great great day
Very beautiful amazing cars and trucks beautiful colours thanks friend good morning
I miss watching this every weekend morning in the late ‘90s ❤ this gave me the inspiration to walk out in the garage and tinker with my projects
You can still watch it every weekend morning on Motor Trend MAVTV, Rev'n and PlutoTV. Or of course right here on UA-cam!

This and Lead East make for a hell of a weekend.
I really need to get a classic car to build. I've got too many wasted ideas and skills. I need to get something done

I'm from northern Indiana and I enjoy hearing everyone's "accents" when talking about their car
You mean caaw

Long live ICE!
That 73 Mach 1 has a 72 front bumper, a cool car.

People have gone patina look crazy
I love patina. Sure beats a $30,000 paint job you can’t even touch or the owner shits his pants.

That’s a great show but unfortunately I won’t be there this year. Bummer!
Their once was a Ford plant there.
Yep! A piece of history until its closing in 1980.

Labor Day Weekend.

Jean shorts sure get a guy’s attention. 😊
Before the invention of the automobile, people really didn’t have a car in the world.
What are the words to the theme song?
Sad news, they are going to take down that hotel soon.
28:55 так вот он какой бандеромобиль! ))
Like I repeatedly tell my wife, it's all about the blower baby !
I spent the first 20 yrs of my career fixing (customizing) peoples cars. You might feed your FAMILY, BUT YOU GET NOTHING WHEN YOU DO THE MATH.
"... a week's worth of work..."
Dude... you have nooooooooooooooooooooooooo clue.
And he hasn't even released it yet... 🙄
But is a Chevy plant in the car 😅😊
Huuuh okay I see.....
