Nothing is wrong with Gemini. I enjoyed his upbeat dialog in this game. IMO people only complained because of Forsaken. It seemed like a trendy thing to do. Hopefully, in the dlc Gemini will talk more

He explained it at the beginning. It's a free DLC weapon as a collab with Tecmo-Koei (Wo Long.) The weapon is the Azure Dragon Crescent Glaive.
