Hypothyroid is one of the common endocrine disorder,it means when thyroid gland doesn't generate enough thyroid hormone.
what are the symptoms of Thyroid?
obesity, weight gain, hair fall, irregular menses, infertility, constipation, body pains, laziness, tiredness, easy fatigubility.
How to test/diagnose hypothyroid?
Blood tests confirms diagnosis. Decreased T3,T4 and elevated TSH confirms diagnosis of hypothyroid.
How to relieve/treat/cure/solve/manage hypothyroid?
levothyroxine tablet relieves all symptoms of hypothyroid.
which foods must be preferred hypothyroid ?
Here is list of foods that must be eaten if you have hypothyroid problem.
hypothyroid diet chart includes Iodine rich foods like iodised salt, fish. Natural home remedy for hypothyroid includes eating Fresh fruits, vegetables, legumes, egg yolk, meat, almonds, brazil nuts has important minerals like selenium and zinc which promotes thyroid hormone activation in the body.
Calcium rich foods like milk and curds are key components of hypothyroid diet plan. Avoid goitrogens like cabbage, cauliflower, beans,soya products, milllets.
Weight loss can be acheived by restricting junk food and eating low caloried balanced diet.Metabolism in hypothbyroid patients can be boosted by eating protein rich diet which includes pulses, egg, lean meat.
Anaemia is common companion of hypothyroid which adds to hairfall and other problems. thus eating iron rich foods like palak, leafy vegetables, jaggery, groundnut chikki decreases hairfall.
