I loved your helping out in your community and showing your kids how to be human. In fact you could do a whole series on it. None of us are getting out of here alive, so we might as well help each other out. I think of all the folks out there who are experiencing homelessness or might be in a new place with no furniture, baby items, etc. that could really benefit from your expertise and kind heart.

Thanks to you and your family for helping the hurricane victims. My son lives just outside Northport
His home survived. Just his lanai and all the trees were destroyed. He and his wife helped their neighbors. They found food to feed them and helped cleanup. They took their elderly neighbor in until relatives were found.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience of helping with Ian clean up. Such depressing, frightening, godless news and violence every day and we need these messages to lift us up and lighten our heart's burdens. God bless you and yours and all those who selflessly step in and help others. America needs more of this!

That reminded me of helping cleaning up hurricanes Katrina and Ike in Houston when I was a teenager. The hurricanes each hit Friday/Saturday. We had an incredibly short service on Sunday and then went directly out to help the rest of the day. Thanks for helping and thanks for sharing

On those lanterns you could use a battery operated candle instead of an actual candle, especially if you have small children. That way you could still use hot glue. They’re really cute.
    I loved the pink pillow!
Bless you for your help down south! My kids went down for about a week and helped lots of people right Ian hit. They are going to need help for a long time. I feel blessed that we were spared here in Live Oak.

#4. We have to cut down our huge old maple tree next week and I’m so sad. He was “Friend Tree” to our kids and grandson, and my mother loved watching the birds out of the window as she spent the last days of her life here with us. This is such a great idea for keeping a piece of the tree around forever that I never thought of. Thanks for the idea. And kudos to you for involving your kids in the hurricane clean up. Helping others is a great opportunity to foster compassion, empathy, and service.

Great Christmas hacks. Love your sweater by the way. I'm so glad you shared the hurricane clean up with everyone...your boys worked so hard, they are awesome ❤️. I love all the things you're doing for the Ronald McDonald House. That's a special way to show love and support for families going through a horrible ordeal, no matter what time of year it is, but especially at Christmas. We spent many weeks before and after Christmas at the hospital with my brother when he was five, not knowing if he was going to make it. So I know how important that is. 50 years later, he is fine and the father of twin girls.
Every one of the hacks were beautiful. If I had to pick a favorite, they would be the lanterns and the snowball centerpiece. Thanks Natalee for the inspiration.

Hi Natalee, I really love this episode. You are so right in trying to encourage your kids to help people out like in this video. I think you and your family are beautiful loving people who has been taught to help other when they need help Which is a credit to you parents too. I am glad you put that part in this video. I have tried to instill the same values in my kids and my grand children too. I love that you used a piece of that tree as a reminder of the day you went to help out after that dreadful hurricane Ian. I have lived through hurricanes every year in Nova Scotia for 19 years we lived there there was one i will never forget because we had two storms that year that left our neighbourhood in such disarray that it took the community a while to clean up the devastation left behind. the first one was called Juan that hit us head on and it was so scary because a piece of our roof came off a whole section it blew our soffit out and it damaged trees all over the area, Unfortunately one of our first responders an ambulance driver was killed that year he was getting ready to exit the vehicle when a tree fell right on top of the Ambulance luckily his partner had already got out. Then months later we got hit with White Juan that froze everything there was snow all the way up our front door and we had to dig our way out with the help of some of our neighbours and friends. The wind howled all night long. there was snow that covered up our bedroom windows, i thought it was still dark till i looked at my clock. I know how scary hurricane can be. The Maritimes always gets pommeled every year. one or two really big storms. I loved all the hacks you did on this video the snow ball one is especially touching. God bless you and your family who worked so hard helping others. You restore faith in humanity when people like you are willing to travel to help others i wish there were more people in the world like you.

OK so my favorite part! Was your family going to helping we don’t care enough nowadays about other people we just care about ourselves and it warms my heart and my soul that she went to help but that you took your kids and showed them what devastation was done to your community and how they could help even if it was nothing more than raking leaves for somebody that was devastated that was a huge, huge accomplishment! So that has to be my favorite part of your video!!

I have said before how awesome your talent is for making beautiful things, but you and your family absolutely amaze me. You are s thoughtful and kind to reach out to the less fortunate that need some help and that so they know that someone cares. And even your sweet boys helping too!!

Thank you for serving and showing us! Let's shout out the good in the world! Our church does a yearly Serve Day where we forgo Sunday morning service to serve our local community. From building wheelchair ramps and packing dried meals to cleaning and painting our local elementary school. We do our best when we (and our children) serve others! We make great strides showing the love of Jesus when we care for others!

It's always almost impossible to choose a favorite from any of your episodes. That being said, I loved the lanterns because I always say you can NEVER have too many lanterns! I guess a trip to Ikea is in my future.

The snowball basket, I would “flock” the pine, because I think it would make more sense with snowballs, to have “snow” on the pine

What a great episode! And thank you for showing your family working to help a church recover and clean up. The positive needs to show up and show out! Why not? There is so much positivity out there, we just don't see it enough. Thanks for all the great inspiration, Nataly, you are awesome!!! My favourite were the lanterns and the Amaryllis, I really loved that them. I'd love to do all of them actually.
