i think you are wrong . In indian movies, there is a huge highlight given to actor's early moments in the movie and I never liked it. As u can see in RRR , Ram's introduction was very heavy with great bgm and slow motion shots when the character has done nothing but stand and stare at camera. This was just immature direction in my opinion, coz the director used the actor's fame and past filmography to create a hype about his own character which should not be the case. also the action sequences in indian movies are pretty unrealistic. i dont know how u are loving it? coz hollywood either uses suspension of disbelief or some reasoning for the unrealistic sequences. Neither of that was used in RRR, and audiences were just forced to believe what they are seeing. ik u r doing this for indian traffic on ur channel but please be truthful to ur self.

I think the reason why RRR is so well received is because of it's earnest representation of heroes. Their superpowers do not make them heroes. Sure they are strong, and that strength helps them. But it is their dedication to their beliefs and to their people, even when those beliefs are challenged and their people may reject them, is what makes them so admirable. Can that honestly be said about modern Superheroes from the West?

That kind of situation, cultural context , emotion , music and spectacle is really very difficult to weave in one movie. The movie touches many dimensions of human emotions and it is almost 4 to 5 movies together in terms of content.

@@Sri-Hari You just described Terminator 2, Return of the King, Oldboy and any nicely done blockbuster. RRR is good but trust me, for us Indians, it's not something we haven't seen before. It's just done on grand scale. Look at Lagaan and Sholay, RRR borrows many things from those films and in my opinion, those two are better films than RRR. They hit the points about culture, patriotism, friendship, love and anything local better than RRR. One more reason for RRR to get famous is it's use of crisp and clear action which though not unfamiliar to Indians was unfamiliar to grey, murky and dark action scenes watching western audience. It's just like Parasite, the movie which introduced Bong Joon Ho to international audience was not even his strongest film. So to sum up, it's quite possible that we will see something like RRR very soon from Hollywood. Avatar 2 is releasing and James Cameron has had very good track record with the sequels. Also, I was quoting the Dude.

Both Ram and Bheem are modern historical figures as depicted in movies but they are also inspired from ancient historical characteristics of Shri Rama (from Ramayana Era) and Mighty Bheem (from Mahabharat Era) that's the reason why Bheema can lift motorcycle because according to Mahabharat, Bheema can crush mountains and 🐘 with his single punch. And Rama dressed liked that statue (idol from where he gets his 🏹) of ancient Indian Rama. You should read the lyrics of song playing in background music in last forest battle. One of the reasons it works so well I think is a proper undiluted chivalry and values of the heroes. We need more of this. Hollywood got almost unbearable with all those villain background stories , first world problems and overblown self inflicted troubles which used to be just normal workable obstacles back then 😃 It wants to be relatable so much that often there's nothing to aspire to.

As an American, RRR definitely changed my mind on Indian cinema and I loved every second of it! It was such an enjoyable movie to watch and had a Phenomenal story. I’d seen a few Indian cinema movies before… But that’s because I have a thing for weird / (no offense intended) bad-ish, but still entertaining movies… Like Sharknado, Llamageddon and Terrordactyl. Lol Before RRR, I kind of lumped most Indian cinema in with those. RRR was occasionally ridiculous, but in the most fun ways… And it has deep substance and plot. I enjoyed it as much as I did Top Gun: Maverick. That’s an impressive feat and I can guarantee I’ll be watching more. You should all be proud. It’s a great representation of what’s capable over there and people are noticing. Cheers.

This indeed is a beautiful analysis. Great analysis always has pure common sense at its heart like this one.
Hollywood should regain its lost charm and glory. It's been decades since I have eagerly waited for a Hollywood movie.
I am from India and precisely from the land of tollywood. In our childhood alongside the tollywood movies, we eagerly used wait for movies like Jurrasic Park, Terminator, Independence Day, True lies (which ran for 200days in Hyderabad), Eraser, Titanic, Mission Impossible, Batman etc. But now are there any Hollywood movies that the world is eagerly awaiting?? I don't think so.

I agree with all of this but in the Indian subcontinent the “worship” of actors goes overboard which I find cringe.
Yes Rajamouli is a very talented director and storyteller and it’s good that he’s getting the biggest recognition than the actors.
A few decades ago it was all about the actors so much so that the ones who wrote the screenplay got paid peanuts.
The order of importance should be Director, Screenwriter and last the actors.

The greatest thing about the RRR movie is its symbolism, it's like "This is America song" where in front of your eyes entertainment is happening but behind the scenes a true story is hidden.
    S. S. Rajamouli being a thousand IQ Genius which he is RRR film connected with everyone because it's Ramayan wrapped under a modern cinema, like Rajamouli sir said watch and understand movie through visuals, it's connected to its mythological or Indian roots, also movie is symbolic it has far more that 100 references which is crazy, I accidentally ignored the movie thinking meh this is just another O.T.T. movie but when it was praised by the entire world, I watched the movie once again with a clear mind.
I saw references of steam revolution like Ram fire Bheem water creating steam and steam revolution was during 19's and steam-powered engines back then so when Ram and Bheem ran together it powered the steam train that they were running together with.
Also, the whole Ramayan reference, Sita praying in front of Rama and Sita idols, she giving him the locket like Sita in Ramayan gave her ring to Hanuman to give it to Ram, but they reversed it in the movie since Ram in movie is in prison and Sita is waiting for him whilst Hanuman/Bheem goes to save him.
Sita feeding Hanuman during his return from Lanka to Ram and Hanumam promising that he will surely return with Shree ram and rescue you, just like that in reverse movie showing Sita feeding Bheem and him promising to keep Rama safe and rescue him with his life.
Vahan which fought alongside god's in Hinduism like Shree Ganesh having mouse as his vahan, Nandi was Vahan of Shankar, and all the monkeys fighting in Ramayan also Jatayu in Ramayan trying to stop Ravana from kidnapping Sita mata, and so to give reference to this mad lad S. S. Rajamouli made Bheem use all the animals during invasion scene.
As well as there is a reference of Andman Nicobar island cells which empire created for kaala pani where ram was kept and all the Bhartiya revolutionaries were kept there.
The whole bridge scene where Bheem exchanged child to Ram and took Rams flag which symbolizes Bheem after understanding Ram's mission to gather weapons to empower the nation and its people, which ironically told the entire plot of the movie in a single scene.
Also, there is one reference to Hanuman taking Lakshman and Ram to help Sugreev defeat Vali on his shoulders. In movie instead, Bheem takes Ram on shoulders and does push-ups but also breaks outs from cells by fighting the battle together like that.
Jenny is a reference to Vibhishan, who was also on the enemy side, but after seeing good in Bheem's heart, she Joined Ram and Bheem, similar to that in Ramayan Vibhishan joined Ram.
Another reference where Ram is bitten by a snake and almost dying and Bheem saving him with some ancient tribal cure, which is reference to Hanuman bringing a mountain of whole anjani buti for Lakshman.
When Ram was whipping Bheem that song was a reference to a small story under Ramayan which most of the people have forgotten about, once Naradmuni was thinking whether Ram is bigger or his name, so he told Hanuman to greet everyone but Vishawamitra, and Hanuman did so accordingly.
Vishawamitra after seeing this was furious and ordered Rama his disciple to punish Hanuman, Then Rama went and showered Hanuman with arrows but Hanuman was saying Rama's name and chanting his names mantra so Hanuman was ineffective with every single arrow that was shot at him, Rama even used Bramhaastra against Hanuman but it didn't work and thus the Rama's name was bigger, in this scene pavanputra as in son of the wind is carassed by wind and leaf like its child which is also a reference to the hindu mythology.
(Since Bheem by name is a character from Mahabharat epic but Bheem in this movie is Hanuman, because both are Vayuputra or Pawanputra in Hindu mythology and Hanuman even helped Bheem in Bheem's story) Ram beats bheem under Scott's order, which is reference to Vishwamitra ordering Shree Ram.
And even when Shree Ram didn't want to harm Hanuman/Bheem with whips and Bheem was unaffected by whips because he was singing, thus chanting mantra reference in this scene.
Bheem breaking the rope is reference to Sita's sawaymwar where lord Rama broke the bow in the stead of Sita's father and all the assembly which was also a flex of power.
Also just like real life Ram Alluri or Sitarama Raju gathered weapons and after his lovers death he roamed around with saffrom robes with quiver of arrows and bow in jungles killing britishers to gather their weapons and give it to empower Bhartiya common wealth and revolutionaries, and also in the movie Ram joins empire because his father told him to collect weapons to empower revolutionaries, is similar to Ram taking Sanyas because his father told him to and Ram repspecting his fathers choice. One day when Ram Alluri was praying to the god, Britishers unethically murdered him.
Bheem was maybe from gond tribe and he wore robes of momedians by pretending to them and taunted Britishers and momedians then lured them as well and killed them with his tribe but I don't know how he died and how or how much of info that I wrote about both is trustable but yeah one of the momedian community was helping britishers and they were anti nationals so Bheem fought against them and killed them but since I read nothing about these two revolutionaries, That's all I can understand from the movie, also Bheem and Rama Alluri who where revolutionaries in real life fought their separate battles in separate states, but I know little about them because my school never thought me about these two legends in northern part of the Bharat, this movie introduced these legends to me and I'm ever grateful for that.

Haven't seen the movie yet but the major spoilers made me shed a tear, imagining the pain it must have evoked on the viewers on that particular scene. I normally ignore movies that perpetuate the glorification of male machismo & purposefully sidelining and just turning female characters into plot devices (since I come from a very sexist country), as you do in 99% of ALL media, I reckon.
But I guess I really should give this a try, if only to enjoy the rich visuals!

This is a major aspect of the film that I feel like isn't talked about due to the current climate on social media: The film is a celebration of masculinity. The men in this movie ARE MEN. They are willing to sacrifice anything and everything to protect their loved ones. They quite literally take on the entire world out of sheer will and strength. Hollywood in today's society hates men that aren't flawed, weak, or cowardly in some way.
Furthermore, it never falls into the "toxic masculinity" vein that so many critisize. The main characters never use their strength to dominate or abuse, they only use it to serve and protect. In spite of their warrior nature, they are very affectionate to each other and their families. And they aren't afraid to show it either. They dance, hug, and cry, but at no point do you ever feel as though they are less of a man because of it.

Majority of people coming out of theaters come out and say "such a waste of money" "such a waste of time" (dabbulu bokka, time bokka in telugu 😂 ) rather than saying "bad movie". there are people who visit theater 3-10 times to watch again and again. movies made in tollywood directors always have invisible pressure to deliver bang for the buck movie that people pay for ticket and also must satisfy them that time is worth spent in theaters..

As an older person who has forever been obsessed with films, I started watching S Korean films 22 years ago and Indian films 13 years ago with my late hubby. Since he passed I have tried so many times to recommend films from those 2 countries to others but to no avail. I'm so glad finally to be proven that my tastes are not so out there before I pop my clogs. For me RRR was pure escapist joy and the most fun Indian film I've seen since Enthiran although there are many that I class as thouroughly entertaining.

Best film of 2022. Especially in the original Telugu language and not the Hindi version on Netflix.

Thank you for the video. Most of Bollywood is woke brigade and doesn’t represent India. Tollywood is different than Bollywood.

An international film's popularity I feel comes to three things: Aggressive Marketing + Having A Small Unbiased Audience To Set the Domino Effect Rolling + Relatable Theme

The answer is much more simple:
Hollywood is following an agenda which is harming story telling. It's not about entertainment anymore, but passing a ideological message.
So, cinematic industry around the world are thankful for that.
They are true to stories of heroes and human drama that people were listening since the dawn of time.
