I wonder what the pay scale looks like. I talked to them about 8 years ago and their guys averaged $25/hr. I hope I’m wrong or that has changed by now.

@@GidDree not worth it when your building million dollar cars. Flat rate mechanics can log over 80hrs making over 6 figures a year. I left a hot rod shop to work in an airplane factory doubling my pay and get better benefits. As cool as it would be to work there, that’s just not enough money.
@@Jbcustoms56 True that, I worked for a Chevrolet dealer but they had 2 guys married to the owners daughters, they were given the "Gravy" jobs while I was handed the chit 'Flat Rate' chit jobs that you lost your butt, quit that and went build stock chevys and fords mostly average small blocks that sold a lot, and a race shop in the back after I earned years of machining and assembling....Loved my job till the Boss sold out after having marriage problems aand we had to leave. Than a few years went by and he commited suicide I heard....and for some reason I can relate to this vid and you...Annd you reminded me, I worked at a helicopter company and learned a lot there, but they moved me to rebuilding hydraulics and after a few years it got really boring. But I miss the auto engine-race shop for sure...I wish you and family Health, Prosperity, and Happiness my Brother👍
So they want their employees to eat hamburgers while they eat steaks. I hate cheapskates.
