What is Amy talking about!? It wasn't against City, Liverpool or United that the league was lost. Has she forgotten Aston Villa, Fulham, West bloody Ham etc
We need to start strong this time. Last season we drop important points in first few games. Hopefully Arteta continues with proven, successful stratgey unlike last season when he started Partey at right back and Gabriel M was missing.
I have to say that as an American I found the combination of the accent, zeal and tempo with which Dara O'Briain spoke quite difficult to follow, but for his sheer effusiveness I found myself laughing with him for jokes that I had not at all understood😂
I love Arseblog and look forward to these each week, but just as a bit of feedback the part with Amy just droned on and was not an interesting listen, may be the lack of enthusiasm in her voice but man that was rough. I enjoyed all the other segments as is the norm but as a long time listener just wanted to give feedback.
Is it me but I don’t think we will do better than last season, Yanited, Chelsea, Spurs, Villa, Liverpool and even West Ham look stronger but not strong enough to take points off City but maybe us
How can Liverpool look stronger when they bought no one and replaced their greatest manager in recent history? Also, their two best players are a year older, no longer in their prime. City are also weaker by selling 82m player, and KVD and Silva a year older. I agree that after 2 good seasons, there is a decent chance Arsenal might have a down one. I'm hoping the other clubs will also struggle, specially City who were very poor against big teams last season. And I think they're even weaker now unless they buy someone big.
@@Arseblogman, I love this podcast, my favourite by a mile, been reading the blog since the very beginning...but I'm not a fan of the theme either...it's not so much the 'music' itself, it's the very low sounding bitrate. As an audio engineer I just can't help it. Sorry, although you're obvs not bothered, as stated! It definitely won't stop me listening.
@@Henry-to6yz Thing is, I lost the originals from 2006 when the pod launched. We did have a reworked theme, but for various reasons I had to revert back to the older one and some 128kb MP3 files :)
fucking love the theme tune, you know it’s goodly morning when you hear it
👊

I love the intro theme tune because by now i have a deeply wired association of it with a great Arsenal podcast to come.
Thanks ;)

He's such a fast talker. I can understand how it's tough for people outside of Ireland to get it all 100%
Did you know he's also heavily into astronomy? That's my nerdy bag aside from football! 😅😅
@@MatthewOfLondon Yes, I've seen him talk about it all right
@@ArseblogYears of watching Mock The Week prepared me for this. 💪

Loved Amy's reference to Serie A on Channel 4 on Saturday mornings... About time we had a man with a headband 😁👌🏻
So great to hear from Amy again. I will be writing a strongly worded email to the athletic podcast about why she doesn't feature there.
Goodly evening
What's happening with Dara's speech? Sounds like he's doing an impression of Sylvester.
Amy sounding dangerously like a Spurs fan with the trophy talk
No!
😂😂
Amy and adrien!
Has Dara taken his false teeth out for this?
This is the one.

Why strong enough to take points off us but not off City? Don't let your fear shape your opinion. We can beat all those teams. 🙏🏽 COYG
There was one goal between us winning and losing the league last season - we're every bit as good as city right now.
Don't be a loser.
Yeah it's you. No one else surrenders before a ball has even been kicked.
We do look thread bare up front, I don't think we'll win it but I would love to be surprised!

I still hate the theme tune.
Tell it to someone who cares
