Thank you so very much for sharing this information. We are picking up our new layers and turkeys for processing at the end of May. Our meat chickens in July. We just built our addition to keep them all separate. We kept wondering but we chose to seperate because of the feed difference.

I know someone that was raising turkey poults and tried to switch them over to chicken feed. They all died. You’re playing it smart I’d say!

As a pretend farmer myself I have turkeys and chickens together on my property. Sofar never had a problem.
I had 1 turkey poult randomly die but I don’t blame the chickens
