    My ktm is broken down right now. I sent the carb out to get rebuilt and ordered a bunch of parts from Rocky Mountain coming today. Watching this video makes me want to get that girl back on her wheels and fired up .

    The floating pumas rocks, the outfitted bikes, and that cabin were cool. Skimmed through this 2+ hour video in 5 minutes as I’ve ridden many of these same roads. The hero 7 is a nice improvement in video quality. Editing is a very time consuming endeavor, but I’d love to see one highlight video and then more segments broken into 5-10 minute clips. Thanks for the inspiration. Ride on!

    Love the route you took! I'm a very new hand at motorbikes just finishing off the payments on my gl1500se and have been looking for some good rides to take and the sheer enjoyment you and your friends seem to get while riding through the mountains is very inspiring aswell as encouraging for the fearful noob inside me! Thanks a bunch!

    That was fun! Though I don't really envy the cold temps up at elevation. I much prefer my Gulf Coast temps at that time of year, and even this time of year for that matter. I'm heading out moto-camping the first weekend in April to Cheaha State Park, Alabama to celebrate my 49th B-day. I'm curious about the collapsible water pouches I saw in the video. Who makes them? How durable were they? Peace and love.

      Thank you TJ. I found the water carriers on Amazon. "Faswin 4 Pack 5 litres Containers Collapsible Food Grade Sport Camping Water Container Water Carrier". They'll leak if you fold them oddly, but collapsed like the come in the mail, they last for many trips. Have fun out there, and Happy Birthday.

    Hey sorry if you’ve already covers this, but what is ur MPG on the 990? Dirt, street, ect.....? Thanks

    • @briancrumpacker
      @briancrumpacker  5 років тому +1

      Riding normally on the freeway I can get 40-43 with intake, mapping and exhaust upgrades. Ripping around in the dirt and aggressive street drops that into the low to mid 30's. Not bad for a beast.

  • @TWPeeps
    @TWPeeps 5 років тому +1

    Any thoughts on the 790 R? Would u own one?

    • @briancrumpacker
      @briancrumpacker  5 років тому

      Not the direction that I would go personally. I'm spoiled by horsepower and carrying capacity. I should learn more before I say for sure.
