When I saw your beardwork for the first time a few months ago it was already the most Space Wolve I've ever seen. When you started to blend kitbashing into the modelling I stood corrected. Now you are further improving with different techniques... I am truly amazed by how your work is still growing in skill and seeing a beardless Marine in the video makes me already wonder how he is going to turn out. Just Thank you.
Wow man this is a really heartfelt thing to say, thank you so much! I'm always trying to improve and keep learning each time I build model. Keep being awesome!
The algorithm brought me to your channel. My first army was space wolves, I sold them forever ago, but these videos do motivate me to give some of your tutorials a try for any of my future space wolf inductees to my Deathwatch army.
This looks a lot more convenient than the method I'm using right now (drilling tiny holes for microbeads - looks good, but takes forever). I'll give this a shot, as an Ork collector I have a lot of use for rivets.
I cracked open an old water filter, it's full of charcoal and these little silica beads of various sizes. Few mins of sorting them with tweezers and youll have a ton of 0.5mm to 1mm rivets. Apply them as this excellent tutorial indicates.
A good idea and a great result! To avoid stabbing yourself and to help keep a good grip on the bit, maybe putting your small drill bit into the pin vise backwards could be the way to go? I've done similar to that for green stuff texturing but I don't see why it would't work for punching soft metals? 🤔
great idea - I recently made little greenstuff handles for all my punch sizes. Works really good as you can write the size of the punch on the side of the handle and it keeps my pin vice free.
Little tip for the drill bit, if you don't mind getting an extra bit, or it just having some gunk on it, you can use some electrical tape to make it a little more comfortable and easier to grip
Yeeeessss! Another tutorial from Valbjorn! Ordered the fur texture plate so will start pumping out some barbarians! You probably increased GSW's sale numbers of the fur plates quite a bit! Will see what I can do about those rivets.. Would also be interested in braids if you can solve the puzzle. Keep em coming Valbjorn, so inspiring to see the stuff you are making!
Epic- thank you so much!!! This is gold. Have you tried the Greenstuff World rivet roller tool? Frankly, your solution seems hard to improve, but curious if you'd given it a shot
Holy shit I think they might be from that kit! Ive had them in my bits box and thought they were a good fit. I completely forgot where they came from. Cheers man!
@@jarlvalbjorn cheers bud, I'll buy through your links. It's good to support people who give us free how to infos. You have successfully made some orks more rivety.
I have tried using bob Smith debonder. It works alright, seems to unglue stuff but you get a white residue left that needs cleaned pretty good. Hope this helps!

Back with another banger🔥 I can't be the only one who feels this channel deserves more subs.
Thank you! I hope to make more videos soon 👍🏻 any suggestions welcome.

Love to hear that! thanks for sharing.
That’s top class and simpler than I had expected. Thanks for the tutorial. 👏🏻
I don’t even collect Space wolves but your videos are honestly on another level so their a joy to watch!

Extremely helpful mate! Loving your work
Your tutorials are great! Keep making content!
Thank you! I plan on it ☺️
Damn man where did you go I forgot about this channel
Between work and home improvement projects I'm pretty strapped for time. Making it work though! Thanks for watching 👍🏻

I'm super interested in how you do your battle damage. I'd love to see a video of you making those impact marks and gashes in the armor itself.
You're not the first to suggest that! I'll definitely consider it, thank you.
is this the mini that miniac painted in his eavy metal space wolves vid?
yeah it is!
So glad you're doing more tutorials, really some of the best I've seen
That really means a lot. I'd like to keep up the momentum and keep them regular. Cheers man!
I have to try your method !!
I got some micro glass beads from Green Stuff World as well to use as rivets , still need to try that thing too :)
Cool man! I hope it goes smooth 👍🏻
A really good channel, if you now also make your specifications in the metric system, the whole world will benefit.
thank you, it's a hard habbit to break as I grew up with imperial system. I'll do my best to reference mm in the future as well.
Great video, thanks for sharing.
Do happen to know what gage size for the pewter sheets your using.
Cheers

😮 Thanks. Learnt something today
Fantastic work, ive already been using your beard techniques, going tongive this a try asap.
What kit did the wolf pelt on his belt come from?
Mate! Great vid, awesome results, beautiful minis. Keep up the good work fella!
Thank you so much! I love your podcast! I've been meaning to give you a well deserved 5 ⭐ review one of these days, as it's well deserved.
Cheers!
@@jarlvalbjorn cheers for saying so mate. Really appreciate it. We look forward to addressing your 5 star review in the future. :)
This is most excellent. Are the horns from the first mini from Tzaangor?
Holy shit I think they might be from that kit! Ive had them in my bits box and thought they were a good fit. I completely forgot where they came from. Cheers man!
What chain size do you use on the wolves dude??
1mmx.5mm brass cable chain - it's a little tough to find but try scouring bead stores online
Awesome, I've been struggling to find a good rivet tutorial - microbeads are waay too inconsistent for my liking.
I'm glad you found it useful! Thanks for the kind words.
You must be seriously useless at your research if you were struggling to find a rivet making tutorial.
That is outrageously cool my guy
Thanks for saying so! Hope you find it useful 👍🏻
This is incredible. I've got to try it!
Let me know how it goes! Thanks for the kind words.
Realy good stuff as always man. Question, what kit did you pull the horns out of?
Thanks! They are Tzaangors horns 🤘🏻
How thick is that pewter sheet. I found some .15mm thick sheet?
It's .2mm

Whi don't you use the pin vice and put the drill bit in backwards so it's easier to hold
Great idea
I'm curious how did you make the spikes on the back of the Chainsword?
Those are magic sculpt epoxy putty, they are small coils I rolled and let cure and then glued them in place
Another great video!

how on earth did u do that battle damage, i must learn. :)
I'm thinking about doing a video on different types of battle damage

Looks great! But... why not just use a drop of superglue all by itself?
iloveit !

@@jarlvalbjorn Thanks !!
Why not put the drill bit backwards into your pinvice? Just push it past the drill threading if you still want to use it as a drill later.
My exact thoughts!
Great suggestion!
I have my pin vice set up with another drill and I was too lazy to switch it out 😆
