Note, this is a review on if these items are good at chaos 35, not a reflection on their design. Almost all these items can be improved with buffs and bug fixes.

The entire season pass should have been a single DLC, instead they split it into 4 mediocre DLCs and on top of that time gated difficulties.
Best to take a break and come back when it is all out.
Mediocre is to generous of a term.
Best to not buy season passes before you know what content is in them. Or you know, do it your way and toss a coin on whether or not you are going to get scammed. Then do it again when the next game comes so Gearbox keeps doing it. 👍

I thought bl3's second season pass wasn't worth the money so I didn't buy it. This one makes it look like a steal by comparison. I can't believe I was baited into buying this one.

I have bl3 on pc and on ps4 both with season pass 1 and 2 but having wonderlands with season pass is just sad. At least season pass 2 provides fun guns, skill trees and fun fights. They nerf hell load of things lately on Wonderlands and I wont start speaking of my builds... But I honestly at least expected to see spicy guns or gear and this dlc is worse then 1st dlc we got imo i didnt expected to see diffrent dlc pattern on 3rd dlc either since they proved they wont change anything it yet again will be 4 weeks of fights... Shame gearbox honestly shame
The BL3 pass was one of the best things in BL3. The wonderlands DLC? Absolute garbage. I might get them after they’ve all dropped.Ive already stopped playing at Chaos 11. The grind is boring and annoying compared to the grind in BL3.
@@umanoid1523 yeah also every new character to grind up to high chaos levels... When gear unlike in boderlands 3 is changing bucause u wont use m1 gear in m10. Unlike wonderlands where u need to go through many chaos levels and gear u can use same in chaos 1 or 35 ( i know u can go for volatile and ect but u can also continue with normal gear too). Gets boring in a way

I got the season pass and was so hyped to play a new borderlands dlc finally but I played about 45 seconds of it and ejected the game and haven’t played since. There is no way they played it and said “oh man the fans are going to love this, it’ll have so much content and replay value to keep them busy for hours”
Apparently I dodged a bullet by waiting for the steam version. Hopefully they pull their heads out of their asses before it releases
Garlic breath might be pretty smooth with something like the brr-zerker/pandamecium/crying apple/salmon. Boltlash looks like it might work with the polymorph skill and a full-auto weapon if you keep firing at the skeep while channeling the cast to launch a bunch more out. A repeating crossbow attached to the wrist would be a really cool in the spell slot for something like this but the wand is fun too
So the “dlc” gear is either: not dropping due to a bug, performs like garbage, decent, or not working properly due to a bug…
Goddamn this game has turned into a disappointment so fast.
Really glad I waited on the Season Pass to see how the individual DLCs were received.
Might pick them up when they are all out and the price drops.

From what I’ve been hearing, it’s best to wait till the season pass goes on sale. I just ordered the base game game on Amazon for the PS4.
Hey Moxsy, given the way this is all going it would be interesting to see some borderlands 2 content.
Seeing as you're sort of the head of the new generation of borderlands youtubers I think it would be interesting to see your builds and ideas over the game.
Let's be honest, these aren't DLC's. A DLC is more than the equivalent of a short single encounter run. DLC has an actual storyline of its own and requires you to go through significant story missions, while offering side quests. That is the definition of DLC according to every single Borderlands game in the series. My bet is that they're rushing the release because they're hemorrhaging players and can't figure out how to stop it. The sad thing is, if they stopped nerfing as much as they have (some were valid, most not needed) and focused on having a well written story for the DLC they'd be killing it. Instead, they're "balancing " everything, which is the worst thing they can do. The best part about Borderlands from the first game on was getting to be an overpowered god, so why are they taking that away? It's not competitive like CoD so there's no need to balance unless something is honestly unintended and are the result of a glitch. Not to mention that their nerfs are huge compared to the buffs. Dropping popular stuff 25-35% and buffing other stuff 1-3% is not balanced. If they want us to play the game a specific way then just remove the skill trees and be honest about it.
Wonderlands had modded stuff on day one. They don't seem to mind that, so it doesn't make sense that they keep nerfing every meta that rears its head.
People were complaining about bl3 nerfing at first too, now it’s a great game. hold out for hopefully better content, and if not get over it, it’s just a game
Edit. The Grease Trap is great on Zane with Clone. Use Grease while clone uses fire and Re-volter have an Artifact with Extra ammo to increase Mag

It can also damage bosses while they’re invulnerable :)
its a shame that not only the dlc content is bad, but most of the gear as well. Literally no incentive to buy the dlc, especially when its expensive in terms of quantity and quality
I personally just got off Wonderlands and am playing BL2 and BL3. Never got Krieg or Gaige to OP10 in BL2 and I played almost every VH in BL3 but Zane. Found myself having fun again with these things.

I’m using a full cryo build with the soaked perk so basically any gun that does fire is a no go for me
@Moxcy I run the ice spell that casts around me and pulls in hit enemy's to the center it works well with hammer throw cause there in the center it would work with the spice puddle
The ricochet amulet, would work well with skullduger weapons, the "bandit" ones that have no clip or reload, just fires all bullets (barring the cooldown mechanic).
I believe there are plenty of those weapons with crossbow attachments
So far as I've seen, free reload mechanics have no effect on Skullduger weapons. Universal Soldier Amulet and War Caster (I think that's the skill) haven't reset the heat for me.
Just started playing and so glad something like salt n battery exists. I've had a oc name Raiz Amul and he typically a alchemist who fights with a set of daggers n a chiefs knife while welding a giant golden fist that was inspired by hellboys arm but most people refer to it as a infinity gauntlet. Rais typically uses the guanlet like a bunsen burner for his alchemy but can use it as a arm cannon, while mixing it up with up to 6 daggers that he can throw and fight with in his other hand. But obviously giant bonking weapon and the ability to throw daggers actually fits so well into his playstyle and isn't seen much of anywhere.

I actually got a primordial Oil and Spice and I struggle to kill anything, even a gingerdead with it. Probably the worst gun tn any DLC so far. Fire damage is so underwhelming in WL anyway, so making a weapon that underlines that flaw is really silly....
They'll just nerf alot and buff a little and then more then likely none of this info will be current anymore. Im a little jaded when it comes to boarderlands nerf mentality if you couldn't tell lol.
I mean, rightly so. Gearbox has pretty much killed the franchise. They have absolutely no idea what they're doing
Barboload is great even though bugged. Those ricochets can do crazy amount of dmg. I'm convinced tbey are double dipping some multipliers at least.
Barboload is good for bossing with stickies from torgue to stack a ton of stuff With the ammo chance as each sticky pellet has a chance, the garlic breath with the one class mod that does poison explosions is good on claw and stabbo but you will kill yourself being too close to enemies, if that classmod didn't kill you it'd be super strong, salt and battery is good to one shot the shark boss as it's tornado will reach the shark chums in his second phase
The Garlic Breath spell is amazing on a stabbo melee/DoT build, you knock enemies down so they can't hit you and you apply status affects first so your first swing hits real hard. Using the new Live Wire with this is also stupid strong.
Trying to get the Graveborn/Stabbo armor with the right stats is nearly impossible, have been farming both the Bunnies and the Wheel for ages and can't get it.
Gearbox PLEASE MAKE THE WHEEL DROP CHANCE BETTER!!
Feels real bad when you spend over an hour spinning and get mostly Blue/Purple drops. And maybe 1 or 2 Legendaries that are ok at best.
Just a thought; oil and spice w clawbringers cleansing flames. The new fix made it pretty dang strong, could be a nutty interaction.
That combination might work the only problem is the cool down I think, either get a melee that reduces action skill cool down or reduce cleansing flame cool down to 15 seconds. What do you think?
For that ring, does Indomitable proc it as you are saved from Save your Soul once every 120 seconds. If not then it's a missed opportunity...

I think at this point I'm just waiting for Borderlands 4. Unless one of the last DLC's is something substantial
I bought the season pass edition because I thought the DLC was going to be DLC not something other games do as free updates. Worst additional purchase I've made in a game, and I just accidentally bought a challenge skip in Halo Infinite.

The boltlash will go off on the bouncing arrows as well, meaning if an enemy gets hit by the extra arrows has 3, they will then explode and shoot more arrows out. My x2 would have enemies be nothing more than arrows for their models from how many times it went off.
When i try and use boltlash as a spell its ass
No build we can make to help Barboload? One where it doesn't need to reload much, or maybe another way to get ammo back?
I'm really sad about gearbox now putting out sad excuses for dlc's as well. I've always defended them and brought up the borderlands games when somebody said "all dlc sucks" but I guess all good things must come to an end eventually
wait... does this work with torgue crossbolts? They have dynamite attached to them so I don't know if it's considered a normal crossbolt

There is an amulet in the game that boosts fight for your life damage and a ring that does it. Coupled with several abilities to further increase FFYL damage and brrrzerker who increases it's duration based on your damage dealt. It's a fine ring. Just not against certain bosses.
It doesn't boost ffyl damage though, it boosts damage after ffyl ends 😮💨 what you just described would've made sense from a design perspective, not sure how they could possibly miss it

I am SO GLAD I didn't pre-order the Season Pass for Tiny Tina's Wonderlands. Gearbox rushed out the DLCs and don't seem to be adding much or better gears to the base game. It's a shame because Tina's Wonderlands is a pretty fun game

The firework from love guns and tentacles dlc was good on moze.
Maybe gearbox changed FFYL to SYS knowing that people wouldn't spend souls on the new gear.
Whether you keep playing, or stop and wait for GB to finish their constant tweaking, the amount of homework required to stay caught up or catch back up just doesn't seem worth it. It feels like you spend more time trying to figure how the game works than you do actually playing. The game is a chore
Don't the only thing I like is the armor all that status effect is really good for berserk and Spore Warden you get a 39% status effect damage and then on top of that on your kill skill you get a 65% of status chance for 6 seconds. The only weapon I like is the melee but honestly to prompt those critz on a boss that's above the ground it's too complicated it's too much of a risk specially with the boss in the dry gallery walking on that purple slime you're just losing all your health because how long it takes to print even when you pop your Shadows ability yes on paper it doesn't take that long but it takes at least 5 seconds and standing in that purple sludge 45 seconds you lose half of your health bar!
I wish this game had a system very similar to division 2 where you can save build loadouts which includes your skills that way I could have a build with the melee build for the battery for regular mob of enemies and then my second load all can be with the bow from Spore because I have a pretty good build for that where I can pretty much onetap bosses just by using my super and I'm using rings that decrease my ability cool down so I get my super back much more quicker
my first boltlash spell came with 5 spell charges and i thought that was pretty lucky and its a plus 3 i believe

Hey Moxsy you pitiably won’t see this because it’s been a bit since the video was uploaded. But I was struggling through higher chaos levels with my build but I tried your melee setup from stream when you were using the salt and battery and it helped me crush everything up to chaos 35.
the problem i have with borderlands is that most of the weapons in the game are too gimmicky to actually be affective at killing enemies, and the actual good ones are either small in number or "Reworked/Fixed" by gearbox.
Take the Dahlia Assault Rifles that were good early game (which i understand that they needed to be balanced), but now i think they just think that they are not good enough for end game.
I understand that Gearbox is trying there hardest to get to these issues but if they keep adding these gimmicky weapons than the least they could do is buff back up some of the nerfed weapons that they previously did so they can be more viable end game, like with the Dahlia Assault Rifles i previously mentioned.

You do know they had all the "PLC" done before they even released the game right? the next 2 are already done.. my point being, it was all a part of the main game and they cheated us a season pass! We all paying 90 for the full game if we got the season pass or 100 total if you didn't... they know this isn't "DLC" and is why they doing what they doing.. do a video about this cuz people need to know this is the new practice of game companies and we need to be aware so it doesn't happen...
Monster hunter world did this but they were "free title updates"!!! 2k and gearbox wrong for this! I played through each little story twice and was bored, and the side objectives are just annoying.. the fact they tried to bring kids into borderlands sickens me, the comedy is horrible, it's all made for children.. thats not a psycho telling me they wanna **** my mother..
I digress, very cheap game that they made way too much money on... edit: 💰 on vesper being the last bad guy of this PLC, and that her dungeon door is that wagon.. loading screen- she is in a cloudless section of the sky..

I wonder if Oil & Spice would be good using a spell that summons Fire Hydras ergo would the hydra ignite the oil? Simply because the hydras are fast simple casts and, on a companion, build it would be kind of funny.
since the explosion damage seems to scale with the base damage of the fire source i don't think hydras would do "too hot" (get it?)

I bought the game with the season pass for $90. I completed one play through and got all the collectibles. The chaos chambers are such a pain in the ass for me that I lost interest so I’m back to BL3 so I can level out my final character. Wonderlands is boring
They put to much concentrating in the chaos chambers i think. The whole endgame is only chaos chambers. and the new dlcs ? Yeah new chaos chambers 😂. I dont like to do the chaos chambers 1 million times. I want to run a takedown or digistruct peak. It was more fun.
The best thing about the borderla ds games has been the capabalitly to restart a campaign and having dlc that are their own big campaign in itself. Like bl2, we had torques campaign of carnage, assault on dragon keep, hamerlocks big game hunt, and pirates booty. Hell it seems like their headhunter packs had more content than these dlcs
So basically all but the melee weapon suck and are not worth using. Got it. Now we all go back to using our purple rarity weapons and spells because they are better than legendary gear.

It’s in a new area called Dreamveil Overlook, it’s right next to the very first shrine you see in the game. Easiest way to find it is to head to the map exit in Snoring Valley and follow the path to the first shrine

By the way, even if u have the season pass (atleast to me on ps4) i had to go to the store and "buy" each dpc separately. Basically activate it, cuz its not auto-activated upon installation
You have to go into the Overworld to get there, it is just after Snoring Valley
I'm new to the game but I thought some loot was locked for a few weeks?
If you turn your internet off you can do all 4 weeks and get all the gear through the wheel

Alright guys. What is the absolute bare minimum effort and budget we can possibly get away with charging our players money for?
We'll call it DLC but really it's just a glorified micro transaction.
We'll give them a new boss, that they're forced to farm by doing the same chaos chamber loop players are already sick and tired of, chuck in some guns and gear pieces, and we'll call it a DLC. And charge the players money for it. *laughs in evil. Since we're only delivering the absolute bare minimum. It will Cost us fuck all on wages. No effort = profit.

Honestly only the Salt and Battery is good.
I'm just not getting hung up with getting the most meta weapons and loadout,it's a great game just so much fun and as a whole has a huge amount of great content

The new class mods are really nice to bad the game is to busy dropping the one where you get set on fire every 2 seconds instead of everything else thats actually usable.
Wonderlands stays taking Ls unfortunately. I love the game but they’re not adding anything to keep me coming back
I feel like the Borderlands team dropped this game as a test to see if Borderlands players would be down with that change. Why else would they make a game with a different title but the same look same feel same kinda building of sets but no "CONTENT" if they don't drop a biggggg assssss banger DLC or a new Game with CONTENT quick they made a big mistake
I hate the term, but I have to feel we follow Gearbox and call it PLC. DLC tends to infer better quality than what we've been getting. So PLC seems more appropriate.
What does PLC stand for?

I farmed the sand witch all week and only gotten the melee weapon the jam ring and a bunch of oil and spice

Base game was good.. dlc seems to be very underwhelming so far for season pass.
I dont think this DLC is any better what so ever compared to the first one. they are pretty much exactly the same. I'm just waiting for the 4th one to release since its the only one that will add any compelling content with a new class. spend 30 minutes clearing the dungeons and then I will just be back to chaos chambers
So another disappointing drop. Don’t think I’ll be reinstalling wonderlands tbh.
