Although I do really like TopStep's daily loss limit, it completely screwed me today and I'm not happy about it.
I still have the account but I should have finished the day green. Instead I was "temporarily deactivated".

I took responsibility… but doesnt take away from the fact that i took the same trade in apex and banked bc there was no DLL. The problem was i was already too close to it
Every forex account I’ve ever lost happened this way. Or they liquidate the trade for supposedly over leverage just as it’s about to reverse
Was so funny I think I got within 4 ticks of the same DLL. But luckily was able to hold on and pass

Yah they should have no daily loss limit ever, and when you loose a trade you still win. Oh and free accounts too.

It might seem like that now Jay. Imagine after years of damaging and blow your accounts, there's someone there to stop you. I appreciate this because it guarantees me never to have a bad day. If you take away the "very bad days" from every trader, imagine how many more traders would survive. Bro I do this for a living and believe me these risk perimeters are there to protect us. If you take a time out and actually do the math on a piece of paper you will see it right in front of you if you. I promise you you'll approach with this issue will change sooner or later

That’s not a TopStep problem that’s a you problem. I couldn’t fathom watching any more of the video. However, don’t add to losers, wait for a better entry. We must always protect our downside. How can you be made at TopStep when YOU clicked the buttons and lost 50% if your account?

@@zerodayjay Yes I do prefer TopStep but that’s just a personal preference because it suits my own degeneracy. I’m not defending anything because at the end of the day it’s us who click the buttons and it’s us who keep ourselves from being consistently profitable and funded. For the most part we know what to do but for whatever reason we don’t do it.
