Hey Gudea, don't beat yourself up over upload schedule! Any upload is welcome whenever you get the time, we all have lives that get in the way of things. Love the content as always.
Awesome! As a historian myself I'm so glad to see such a history filled review :D And speaking of Achaemenid Persia, Field of Glory: Empires also has a DLC campaign set in that era: Persia 550 - 330 BCE
Although I don't like the new ui. Remastered is far superior. It's alot more stable than og Rome. The modding possibilities are greater aswell. We just need invasio barbarorum ported now.
People need to stop dogging on this game. It is objectively better than the original by every metric. I can’t even play a 7k unit battle on the original cause of its lacking ability to utilize new hardware.
One of my favorite RTW mods ever. One of my favorite campaigns ever is playing as Cyrene and fending off waves and waves of Ionian stacks marching into egypt. Anyone remember Infernocanuck's sparta campaign for this mod? I think that popularized the mod a lot.
Glad to see you review this mod. It was right up your alley and I knew you would want to check out the port after reviewing the original. Can't wait to see more content added to it.
As always, thanks for the video, always love to hear about old mods i never seen and a bit of cultural and historical info that comes with it, have a great week!
I remember there was a guy working on finishing the Rise of Persia mod for the original RTW on the total war center forum. Do you have any news on the project?
@@GudeaTW I remember the guy working on it released a battles only (no campaign) version that had a ton of new units for all factions, especially the more unfinished minor factions that are unplayable in the original release (f.e. Scythians,Kush,Saba).
@legitrololo2163 I was planning on porting that mod long ago, but I've just decided to make a new bronze age mod because the units suck in the Old mod.
What do you think of all the new ports for Total War Rome Remastered? Let me know!
I think Lucius is a great mod porter he's a rly good friend too.
I hope he can continue porting these legendary mods.
Could you check ou DenMod for m2tw ? Thanks.
LUV them .
I love Gudea’s mini language lessons interspersed with the mod showcase.
That's what it's all about

Thanks KFC! Appreciate it. Hope I can return to doing the livestreams again at some point too

oh nice, never played that!
Man I'm totally dependant on you to keep track of all these mods so thx a lot to keep us informed so on time
no problem!
I really appreciate you commenting on the historical background of the mod. It makes it a lot more interesting
Thank you!
Rise of Persia goes to remastered. finally a reason to play a game I never should have bought lol
all the mods Lucius has ported are reasons to play! 77BC (so much more stable here), Rise of Persia, Arthurian, Viking Invasion, etc.

Hmm maybe I'll do a campaign!
Needs to be it's own official game set during the Rise of Persia.
Agreed
Amazing! Persia is underrated in mass culture

its awesome you know these details about the ancient Persian language and the history that most of us Iranians don't even know. keep it up! Barev
I taught Old Persian...
Thanks to Lucius Papirus Cursor the RR workshop has a great library of mods for players to enjoy :]
Thank you for reviewing his mod - Atreus
He's done a lot of very fine work!
Glad to see you review this mod. It was right up your alley and I knew you would want to check out the port after reviewing the original. Can't wait to see more content added to it.
Yes I want to play a few campaigns!
hopefully youll do Bronze age total war once it finally comes out.

Working on it

I believe that was never finished, but some (or much?) of what was to be included in 3.0 is included here, alongside additional content.

@@thundercliff93 some of that is in here, Scythians/Kush/Saba are in
It is good to hear from you. Of course I would love a playthrough of something, even if I have to wait between parts because life keeps you busy.
Yup, quite busy
Lots of time in this mod back in the day. The tough part was Ionia always taking over huge areas.
Try the remastered version, it's quite an upgrade
@@GudeaTW I will be this weekend for sure :) Babylon will rise again!
There’s only one old mod that absolutely deserves to be ported over to Remastered, and that’s Invasio Barbarorum! 👌
all of them! Rio wanted to port Ultra Gloriam Romae but I think health issues have prevented him from working on it...
Mod looks good
Indeed
The year of the start of the campaign is 509 BC the very year of the end of the Roman Monarchy (Roman Kingdom). Coincidence?
First, love the mod!
Me too!
Image if they remasterd the bronze age mod
Could happen
@legitrololo2163 I was planning on porting that mod long ago, but I've just decided to make a new bronze age mod because the units suck in the Old mod.
@rxbitvzzinbvztin8730 good luck my friend
@@rxbitvzzinbvztin8730 What exactly makes them "suck"?
@@rorschach1985ify the unit model heads were always disproportionate and imo it would've looked better if they built off the vanilla faces+models
nice i can defeat everyone with Kurdish Median empire :D
what about RIS
I haven't had a chance to make videos on it recently, check Red Zed
RIS has a ton of dead regions with nothing but rebels. So far only the Greeks have been fleshed out.
@@GudeaTW chivalry remeastered is a good mod and its even better with the Kirsi's map expansion
I know, I ported it
@@GudeaTW Hmmmmmmm really 🤔
