Whenever I use it, it reveals the underlying layer for a few moments before the text effect happens. Thank you. Hey and thank you for the nice comment! I am aware of those channels and I do believe alot of their animations involve more than just Premiere Pro however If there is a specific effect you want me to re-create as a tutorial I can do my best - at this time I only do Premiere Pro content (on this channel) and davinci resolve tutorials on my second channel

is there any way to blur the video behind the text? without aactually blurring the text? I tried using adjustment layers and applying a gaussian blur directly to the video as well, but the text always comes out blurry.
@@adobemadesimple that's the thing. There is no other video. So basically what I want is to achieve this effect, but I want to blur the video. But if I apply a blur effect on the video, or using the adjustment layer, it blurs the text as well.
Can u do a vertical one? i did that but i wanted an effect where, the text slowly doesnt show the text but the text pops up slowly to the middle, could u make a tutorial on that?

Two possibilities I can think of 1.You have transparency grid active and its showing you the white (grid) transparent background 2.You didnt select the proper layer for the track matte key
@@adobemadesimple In my case, nothing happens. The text went missing whenever I select the correct video layer :c I'm using the latest version of Premiere Pro

add whatever fx you want to the video clip itself, before the track matte key effect

How do you change from black to white?
Its a little complicated to describe in a text - I will re-make the video but with a white background!
