This is basically a better 9398 4x4 crawler. Love it!
and many thanks for the nice soundtracks ! Better than cheap techno or heavy metal that are on many brick vids !!
Brilliant!!! A perfect combination of function, colour, design and creative Technic’s! Happy to see the torsion bar in effect - looks like the best solution for this scale. Multiple battery options makes this a well rounded MOC! 😎👍
Thank you !
Since this is a monster truck, we need smashed metal in the video! Ok, someone can say: this is 9398. Yes, transmission idea is similar, but whole model is smaller as I see, and build from scratch. That suspension is clever design, hope axles will not be bended while staying on the shelve. I should try them too. Good luck and happy new year!
this had be a nice lego technic set for the first half of 2019. Well done
Nice MOC!
I like these torsions!
Awesome! Very much resembles the 9398, except better! Nicely done!
cool
Great looks and functions!
The suspension is genial!
Love the torsion bar suspension! Do you think it would work well with pendular axles?
I think it would
vraiment tres sympa et il roule bien dis donc
Little 9398.
Xri Pun took my line dude😂
Great job!
great job!!!, cool colors and good small scale.. I like it!!
You are awsome wow, 1in1
Looks like real
Thanks !
Тhanks for the instruction! Collected, but after the children played, the axle was twisted.
But I really liked the idea.
Yes it is written on my blog that this is moc is not suitable for drop because there is not end stop on the suspension to prevent the twisted axle, only trial truck and no drop.
Its been 16 years I have been building whit lego but I still cant build a finished car whit body and everything on it like you do. How did you learnt to build such awesome vehicles?
I do not know, try again and again and find inspiration for other builders :)
robbygamingclips just to answer your question I do the same thing, although if you want to build a car I suggest starting of with the chassis, you can add whatever you want to include (e.g. 4WD/RWD/FWD, manual/sequential gearbox, suspension, steering, engine, etc) though you can only add so many things depending on what scale you’re building the car in (1:10, 1:9, 1:8, etc), then make your way out by adding some panels, and also experiment on some parts to make interesting building techniques, and don’t worry about time, all it takes is patience, it takes months to develop a large scale model, even popular youtubers take a while to make their MOC’s (like sariel, nico71, sheepo, madoca1977, etc).
So that’s basically it, just pick a specific car/supercar you like, choose the scale, the mechanical engineering, and then make your way out to the bodywork. 👍
love it so much :) :) :) :)
amazing !! btw the front tire is in the wrong direction,
Yes but not on all the movie, I think I have lost a wheel during testing and replace a bit too quick :)
It looks epic! I like the inspiration from the crawlers (red beams and central servo) and the playability of the model. Only thing I don’t like is the torsion bar, it just breaks my insides to see an axle twist 😤😂 Great work Nico!! 🌟👍🏻 happy new year
Thank you ! Yes the torsion bar do not enable to have a drop without end stop of the system but are quite compact and responsive regarding the scale !
I didn't quite understand, how amortization works. What is used instead of normal shock absorbers?
All is explain is the article on my blog with the link in the description. it works with a rotary deformation and uses because of the available room.
@@Nico71Fr So you are breaking Lego parts to imitate amortization? I don't think Lego would approve such a trick!
@@parazels83 I think you do not know the difference with elasticity and deformation. This is not damage the lego parts so lego do not care. The way I use the elasticity of the axle is the same as the one inside the metal of the spring.
Very nice! Did you find inspiration for the chassis from the 9398 crawler? Other than the suspension design it looks similar - I love the bodywork, it looks very creative! Great job as always!
Yes of course but I start from nothing because the width is different, the drivetrain and the steering. The chassis is more compact than the 9398 for the scale.
Nico71's Lego Technic Creations they are some valid points - it turned out great in any case! Well done!
Great little Monster Truck! Is there any instructions?
yes, you can see it in the description on my blog.
Joli! Tu feras des *instructions* ?
Elles sont déjà disponibles ! (lien en description)
Looks good but the suspension geometry is really bad.
It is a great looking Vehicle, but that Torsion Bar Suspension...I just cringe inside when I see that poor axle getting twisted.
Do not worry, it is made for if your respect the plasticity stress strain curve.
9398
Lego technic remote controlled 1:8 scale set priced at 450 dollars. Who is with me.
Nico71🖕 9398
This isn't a hate comment, this is you flipping off the technic set 9398
