Not sure if it was intentional or not but when they hit the "Button" at the bottom of the pool, the resulting motion of the water directly above the drain looks like the space time disturbances caused an an alcubberie drive.
And I love the fact the he brought his friends to the pool and then went out of the backrooms but it is a entity so I think it can go to whatever level and escaped though that level
