MW19 lighting was perfect, so realistic and good atmosphere.
dark shadows in mw2 are not as dark as mw. and mw2 reflection is not like mw reflection. and the light in mw2 is not as bright as mw. and most importantly the texture is not as good as mw

@@davidndolibilopez555 texture quality is good, but the actual textures themselves are pretty simple, usually subject to one color. it was more complex in mw 19 so they popped out more. like a brown dirt mixed with bluish grey pebbles and grass.

its really not, its just the difference in lighting and the color palette
i agree, im no color expert but MW2 defs gives off some cold war plasticky look. other than that and the degraded movement in mw2 everything is perfect
It's unbearable when you're tripping on tabs. 2019 was 10000x better quality than cold war on the ps5
I prefer the photorealistic look of MW2019, tho it's nice that each game has its own personality
There's nothing photorealistic about it. But still, MW2019 looks better without a doubt.
In 4k Ultra with 120fps MW2019 is literally one of the most realistic looking video games ever made to date. I can also confirm, on LSD it's like watching operator helmet cam footage on Funker.

@toedtick6178 Probly did, but it's true lol, it was like a mix between a movie and actual helmet cam footage, on four tabs it was fuckin mental.
I've seen a comment some time ago, and I think it perfectly described MW 2019. He said MW2019 was just too good, way ahead its time. This video clearly shows that he was right.
I agree but gameplay wise I feel like MW2 is more fun and a bit too easy

take note that mw2019 had a MASSIVE influence in the fps genre after its release. lots of games tried to (altho imo failed to) take inspiration from mw2019 like its reload animations etc. just too bad the corporate scums at activision value money over a good game

I think farcry 5's gunplay and movement was a huge inspiration for mw 2019 and FPS games in general

What makes people like MW2019 movement so much is that your brain/physical ability is the only limit. How fast can you process information and tap the relevant buttons? Since your brain was the limiting factor, you could get into a 'flow' that perfectly complemented your own ability.
In MW2, there are a lot of slow/sticky animations that prevent this. You are limited by the game. It feels like you are a bird with clipped wings.

i think the modern warfare 2019's graphics/shadows are way better than the new one while the 2022 version the audios and animations are better than the old one

I do agree on some parts of the audio, especially hearing how the M4 and .50 GS sounds in MWII

MW 2019 was in my eyes as perfect of a reboot we could've gotten for a game as well renounced and as iconic as the original MW, its just to bad the rest of the games couldn't live up to what MW 2019 set up

I think what contributed to mw22 looking plastic-y in this comparison was that the operator was not wearing gloves.

Mw19 better movement, map design was made for search n destroy imo, fluent game play (aside from campers), better accuracy with guns, and better ui/selection screens

Its funny how everybody complained about a lot of MW2019, except for its gunplay, movement and sound design and then they somehow f**** that up in the next game. HOW??!
i have both and I regret bying mw2 because of multiple reasons. i have to lower the graphics to get a decent fps but then the game looks like a game for ps3. The weapon unlock system can f off. Its harder now to get some good kills even after 2 weeks of playing
I also regret buying this game. It feels a bit of a downgrade to mw2019. There’s also too many weapons where half of them are just variants you could make yourself from the gunsmith. And they take way too long to level up and unlock attachments and camo. They made the new system to make players spend less time grinding for attachments and camos which is doing the complete opposite.
@Best Montage my computer actually broke down some weeks ago so I haven't played at all.
I think they optimize poorly the newer games to make you buy the "new" console or upgrade your pc

developers do not think at all about the details of modern warfire 2 are completely dumb
Why is no one talking about the appearance of the gadgets? Personally, I like the way it all looks in MW19, everything looks restrained, realistic, and even authentic. I won't say that the gadgets in MW22 are bad, on the contrary, they look good, they just don't fit the MW series (compared to MW19).
For example, the animation of calling UAVs and other supports, the character takes out some phone and calls the UAV while shouting out the phrase that he needs support. Why, if he has already pressed on the phone specifically what he needs. In MW19 it looks much more logical, since the character "calls" for support "via radio". And there are many such little things in MW19, I think that MW19 was made with soul, the developers knew what they wanted to do. And the sounds in MW19 are much juicier and more brutal. Which can't be said about MW22... Honestly, at the time, I had high hopes for MW22. I hoped that the game would continue the same approach as MW19, will continue to develop the ideas in the series. But I was so blinded by my expectations that I didn't realize that games aren't made in that way...
It's a shame that this is a one-off event with MW19. I don't think there will ever be another game in the series like MW19 in style and atmosphere.

Mw2 lack art direction I honestly feel like they had no Idea how they'll Improve the game so they just copy and paste it without much thought and made it worse because have no idea what made the mw19 surprising and fresh to a lot of people
When I look at MWII (2022) it looks more childish. The animations and sound are 100x better but the graphics (textures and shading) even on ultra look plasticky. If these two games had a baby it would be absolutely phenomenal. Praying that this is what MWIII will look like!

Mw2019 was great, but not many people play it. As for mw2, i personally dont really mind it at all. But overall i had more fun with mw2019. I mean mw2 is still kinda new so my full opinion on it is really done yet lol.
