in my sketchup selection mark missing, so i dont know what object that i select

Thanks for the videos, i have a problem which when i want to select by creating a window (holding on the left button of the mouse and moving) , whether from right to left or the opposite, the window doesn't appear, it just selects but without me controlling exactly what objects to be selected. No boundaries, just space, but it selects.
How can I get the boundaries of the selecting window to appear?
Hope it's clear.
Any solutions?

i have a problem when selecting by drawing a window. when I want to select windows of a building, it also selects the body of building.
