Peanut butter balls recipe! You can really use whatever you have and I usually just guestimate the amounts 😅: -1 cup Peanut butter (natural is best) -1 cup rolled oats -1/2 cup honey -1/2 cup chopped dates -1/2 cup almond meal -2 tbs chia seeds -1 tsp vanilla essence Mix it all together, roll into balls and refrigerate 🤤👌
Thanks for the recipe, I will try it out. It's refreshing to see that you are managing the challenges you have to overcome so well. I hope your hard drive problems are solved now. Travel safety!
Better out than in guys - lovely to see little one safely sleeping behind - friends and family have asked me why I solo-cycled (no battery) Canberra to Rockhampton NZ top to bottom twice and two six month treks through Europe 2013 and 2019 just before Covid? - yes you have your long days and wet ones yet despite challenges like the Bremer Pass in Austria, ice/snow in Norway, head winds across the Netherlands and unforgiving hills in Cornwall it’s incredibly addictive with new horizons always enticing you - so hang in there and you’ll be rewarded with memories - Canada/US in 2023
Wow it sounds like you've had some amazing experiences! Yeah absolutely we feel super grateful to be doing what we are but at the end of the day some days are just average no matter who you are or what your doing. We wouldn't change it for the world tho! Thanks alot for watching! 😊 We would love to do Canada! Will be definitely heading there sometime in the future! Enjoy!
We have just found your channel,,so the bride and myself might hang around for a while an follow you, buy the way we are getting old now and have been doing the same for a while now and you are so right about being flexible in your planning stay safe you 3 regards from Melissa and Wayne
No, what you have said is exactly what it’s like. The challenges are what make it an ‘adventure’ instead of just a ‘predictable’ holiday which you can find anywhere. What you guys are doing is complete and utter freedom which is seldom found!
Cheers Chris, its definitely an adventure for us! We are super grateful to be doing it! but yeah some days are tougher then others, becoming parents has brought a hole lot of its own challenges aswell hahaa thank you for watching mate!
Lovely video. Fires aren't that fun! Enjoying you showing that every day on the day the road isn't all peaches & cream. Seriously cool you got your damaged hdd back!
Cheers David, Yeah with how big social media is and UA-cam ect is we just wanted to show a little bit of the times where we are down and everything isnt perfect and fun. Just so people realise that everyone has bad days and everyone struggles no matter what your situation is in life 👌 We obviously love what we are doing we just want to I guess be as open as we can be about the realities of travelling and being new parents ect. 😂 Yeah we are soo happy to have most of our stuff back! 👌👌 Thanks for watching mate!
@@WhileWereYoung. Believe me, I get it. Travelling has lots of cool relaxation, but lots of new stresses too. Just ask my wife how I cope with it😛Oh, and I've grabbed your Peanut Butter balls recipe. Looks yummo!
@@davidmanning8329 hahaha yeah it definitely does 😂 Let us know what you think, I (Rhys) don't love them but Sarah eats them like there her last meal 😂 Cheers mate!
So this is from your retrieved hard drive? Yay I’m so glad you got some back, I’m looking forward to your Kimberley adventures, it is my fave place on the entire planet, just so epic and diverse. Well that bushfire was an unexpected adventure, whinging days are ok, it’s just real life as you said 🥰
Yeah it sure is, unfortunately there was a fair bit missing but we should be able to scrape some vids together like this one 😊 yeah it was definitly unexpected! Hahaa yeah look, we are only human 😅 Thanks heaps for watching Robyn!
Enjoying your travels emensly keep up the great work we have the same style caravan as yours oldy but a goldy I have to ask as I am a peanut butter fanatic also and the balls look great can you write down or air the recipie for all to share thank you and safe travels
Thanks so much Necia! 😊 Oh nice, we love our coromal! We didn't know alot about vans when we bought it (still don't lol) but we think it's perfect for us! We absolulty can, I'll pin the recipe as a comment on this video so it will be at the top of the comments in about 10 mins 😊 Thanks for watching!
Don’t think you are imagining the difficulty of travelling in the wet season up there. It is bloody hot and humid. Esp if isn’t raining. That’s why they call it the troppo season and folks really do go troppo. Your tougher than me. I head south in the wet.
G'day Guys, great to see the data recovery worked for ya's 👍👍👍Awesome episode with the fires 😯😯😯Scary times, Keep the awesomeness coming 👍👍👍 Cheers Andy🍺🍺🍺
Cheers Andy! Yeah it worked for the most part. We've definitely lost some footage that's why the video jumped around between places and little bit hahaa but yeah we are super happy to get most of it back! Thanks alot for watching mate! 🍻
Great episode guys. We have our ups and downs in a normal suburban life and god knows why anyone would think it would be different on the road . I just think I would prefer to have my ups and downs on the road. You guys are such awesome people and I'm looking forward to your adventures in the Kimberleys
Thank you mate! Yeah mate even the worst days on the road are pretty bloody good 😂 yep the Kimberley were awesome! Were excited to put the videos together! 🍻
I have to ask the "weather" question. From reports, it's pretty darned hot. I noticed a 30 degree minimum for Broome the other day. How are you coping in the van? How is the car coping during your travelling day? For the uninitiated or unprepared it could make for a difficult time. And from my experience, it doesn't stop until April/May next year.
Yeah look it's bloody hot! 🥵 You'll see in the next few weeks once we get to the Gibb River Rd it's even hotter 😂 we have come further south now as we were coping alright in the van but poor little Lyla wasn't, she wasn't sleeping well and started getting abit of heat rash so we are further south now (it's still hot tho) 😂 The car isn't a drama which was part of the reason we swapped midway through the trip out of our old 1988 patrol because it would have been absolutely struggling towing in the heat. But yeah it's actually pretty good up north if u can deal with the heat because it's pretty quite, there's not alot of people around so often you can explore places by urself which is cool 👍
Iv been looking into that at the moment, I disconnected the sensor on the negative post on the battery and the volts seem to stay at 14.4 now while driving they don't drop down so hopefully that will help 🤔

hoping that the crocks will loose interest in a meal because you are too far from the safety of the water
